Noob tryin it with cfl's

i definatly wanna make hash!

Whats the story with Hash anyway? Ive read a few write ups on how to make it but I dont understand what all is used. I know the best has is made with trimmings and bud, but can you make decent hash out of just trimmings? Do you only use the clippings that are heavily covered in trichs? Does it do any good to use clippings that have little to no trichs on them?

I saw a DIY for a $20 hash press on ICMAG and it inspired me to learn more, but I have enough on my hands keeping my plants' living conditions under control and figuring out this cooltube thing haha.

If anyone is interested I can digup the post on the $20 hash press, it makes a chunk about the diameter of a dime and up to 2-3 inches long.

so ive gotta be the luckiest guy ever...2 more females...thats 6/8! jus confirmed hannah and jessie...also checked on the ones i placed outside definatly males...and no herms as of yet too...man im so excited i was only expecting like 1 or 2 females...went and got my flower nutes(bloom booster) and some molasses...will start to clone tomorrow as today im quite busy

KB ima try and get you a new pic cause man those pistils are startin to show like crazy dont need a mag glass anymore...im pretty sure you can use all the plant...thats what i plan on doin using everything but the bud...throw it all in some bubble bags and good to go hopefully.

thanks man without the help from the great guys here at RIU i wouldnt be where im at!...6/8 doesnt jus make my day it makes my whole month of april!...now alls i gotta do is keep up what ive been doin and hopefully i will harvest all 6 in about 2months

if you use the canadian dry just make sure to get the sodium free...or seltezerd water works better or so they say..
u can just add it to your bowl of water..i do..it works..usually gone in a few hours..
and for those paintball co2 carts..u have to go to like a headshop or something and get a cracker or whatever its called..
same thing you use for whip-its..you can use a crockpot as well...altho it puts off some heat with it..
oh and bakedat are u in Mo? curious..

Quick Update

so its been about 2 weeks in flower now...6 females no signs of hermies...took clones from beatrix. hannah, and kiss yesturday...also started using molasses and bloom booster for my ladies...will jus stick to superthrive in veg...they are all lookin pretty freakin good...tried once again for KB to get some pistils in a shot but cant seem to get em with my camera...jus took a couple quick pics...check out miss mallory knox...shes goin to be a natural born killa fo sure!

2 weeks Flower
clones day 3 in veg

first off ima jus say real quick that im really high...see i wanted to go out will a lil bang for i will be quitting smoking for a month or so...so yeah hella blazed...haha anyways update on my babies...so its been 2 weeks in flower now and my have they grown...got my first hermie today...saw one sac and cut it off then found two more...so i put it outside...my sexiest plant mallory knox....guess she cant go no where without mickey....hopefully she will grow nice outside and i can still use her for somethin...freakin beatrix is huge...her top cola is starting to weigh her down...i tied her back straight up dont know if that will work but did it anyways...all of their pistils are really starting to stick out and show...tried to get another pic with a different camera but once again cant seem to get em...im using gastankers methods and using 1 cup of water/nut/molasses solution per plant per day...seems to be workin fine....clones are on day 3 under 24 hours light...a lil droopy but ive heard thats normal...misted and let them get some air...i have 16 clones from 3 different mothers...can these clones turn hermie in flower?...but yeah i think thats it for now...some pictures from the new camera not so good so will use old from now on...stay high!

another damn hermie!...jessie jane is no longer in the flower room...i replaced her/him/it with the hermie(mallory) outside...i took mallory and gave her, her own room...shes got the whole room to herself so she can stay inside and pollenate all she wants...she was way to sexy to leave outside...all 4 females left in the flower room look wonderful...beatrix is really starting to bud and man shes huge...shes almost 2 feet now(21inches)...im hoping shes not goin to be lanky and produce small airy buds but we will see what happens...my clones arent lookin to good...yesterday they were a lil droopy which is normal today they are really droopy which i dont think i normal...ive been misting them twice a day so i dont know what im doin or not doin...really would hate to loose all my clones meaning startin from seed again...if thats the case might look into some real seeds not bagseeds....anways my camera batteries are dead for the time being so it might be a couple days before some new pics...will try for tomorrow but no promises...but yeah smoke for me guys and stay high!
