Noobie needs help

Hello all, just trying to get an answer to my crop question. I watered yesterday really well and 2day they are dry. I'm running two (2) 600 hps with cool tubes and they are bUUtifuL. Why so thirsty??

lift the pot and see if there heavy if they are there fine it might be the heat drying out the top layer of soil but as they grow they will drink more over a period of time

older plants drink more cuz they get thirstier! plus sounds like you have a decent amount of lights. depending on your medium you may need to water everyday, to every other day. what size containers you using? the size of containers and your medium are huge factors. also, how old your plants are is a factor. just water more, you will be fine.
