I am growing under 600 w hps in plastic'd off area with 6 plants underneath. My problem is there are a few problems with my plants. I was using some cfl's taped to the planter boxes also. I have posted some pictures. I have a few nice sized plants looking good but with a few curled up leaves and discoloredness on them towards the top. I figured the hps was too close so raised it a bit. I also have some plants that are relatively small and look like they are strugling with leaves drooping and turning yellow with some even dead on the bottom of plant. My water schedule has been every other day with nutrients. I figured i might be over nuting my plants or not watering frequently enough so i have just changed that. Plants seem to droop and curl downward. Please help need tips / knowledge asap. Also i have them in 10in diameter and a few in 8 in diameter pots. There is a very successful space queen growing in one of the 8in diameter pots...was wondering if that is big enough or if i should move it to something bigger.
thanks in advance if anyone can help...

its hose water i check the ph usually its between 6.5 - 7.5 and i water every other day. i think it should be more frequent and more frequently without the added nutrients..possibly that is the problem.

Well it could be overwatering, a good rule of thumb is to pick up the pots, if they're light they need to be watered. Or could be a contamination from the hose, I don t know for sure, some people only use purified and distilled water, I personally never have but I also have water that comes from a well. And one more thing it could be, but its very rare, is a phosphorus def, usually due to a Ph lock up, but your Ph sound fine! So I hope this helps a little. Im sorry to hear about that! Wish ya all the luck in the world man, and hope your little girls will be fine!

1st pic looks like classic overwatering. A common noob problem when a plant looks unhealthy is to water. When it doesn't improve, water it more....

I only water twice a week, one time a good watering until I get runoff, the second time I water approx. half the amount it took to get runoff.
Usually tuesday (runoff) and friday or saturday depending how they look.
Hope that helps. Your plants can recover.

hey doesnt look good, what medium is used and what nutes ya using, under watering and over watering are very common problems, try watering lesser amounts more often, get a self watering pot there cheap. hope it helps

GH micro bloom and grow nutes with miracle grow potting soil ><
The first one looks healthier after overnight. I just watered it without nuted and less water more frequently like someone said above. I have two other lighter green scrawnier plants that are stretching upward but are still very scrawny compared to others and one has skinny leaves some curling turning yellow and dying. Prolly gonna just replace those bastards with some other plant cause not feeling those two.

get you water in check first make sure if its tap fill gallon jugs for the week and always rinse them well if your using the same for nutes. Chlorine is added to every public water system leaving them sit for 24 or more will let it disapate. Try repotting them into bigger pots also look a little small for those size. And mg soil has nutes sometimes so make sure if it does cut back on your nutes about half till around two months after first water with mg soil.
