I am in week 3 of flowering and I only have orange hairs on one of my 3 plants. How do you know when the best time to pull is ? I every year the fucking caterpillars get my shit.
My friend said pull when 75% of the hairs are orange. Does that sound rite?bongsmilie
*sigh* people need to read the FAQ more often.

judge harvest by the trichomes. (the small shiny things on the plant.) when you see 1-10% of the trichomes go amber, start flushing. it no longer needs nutes to build thc. at this point all the trichome heads are formed, and the only thing happening now is the conversion of THC to CBD and other cannabinoids. this changes the effects of your weed.

so yeah, just flush when you start seeing the amber trichomes, and wait till the trichomes are where you want it. give it atleast 2 weeks of flush time.

Update: Some pics of the hens as of today the end of September. Never realized how forward I looked to October and November until this outdoor grow. OG Kush. 0/80/20 trichs. Today's watering will be the last with full strength GH Bloom 1/4 strength GH Grow 1tbs/1gal watering. The next 2 weeks will be water and mollasses only.

Everyday has been a war battling caterpillars and spidermites. Will be better prepared next season but now it's about control till harvest time.
