Northeast weather 2017

I think we had one day in the 90's for the whole month of August. Now it's unusually cold. Nights have been in the low 50's high 40's. My outdoor crops have taken it like a champ though. Fully green, no purple. I'm 3 weeks into flower. Remnants of Harvey gonna ruin tomorrow but low 80's Monday.

I'm just trying plump up my crop now. Last year didn't chop till October 10th. Looks like I'm gonna run into October again.

Any other outdoor northeast peeps notice it's a lot colder this year.

Got my El Cheapo greenhouse(15 by 7) for portable plants and leafblower and Pvc frame & plastic for in ground plants- hope it makes a difference for early frosts and monsoon rain(like what I'm getting today)-was planning to water today-guess Mother Nature is doing it for me LOL

yes u must be south of me,i have had mid 40s -high30s all week whitemountians getting snow
Still some late NOBO's on the AT that are not through the Whites yet. They had better get their ass in gear if they want to make Katahdin before it's snowed in.

Seems like I'm always running up against falls doorstep to finish before it's absolutely frigid.

I let the girls ride out the first part of Harvey but had to finally relent and move them to the porch.

Yea, I went back and forth and had them in and out a few times this morning before I decided to let it roll and leave them out. I imagine (with certain strains) that whole "falls doorstep" concern is frequently the case in our neck of the woods for outdoor growers.

However, I have literally zero real-world experience with growing anything. Ever. So I have no idea how good or bad I'm doing.

Based on what I've learned so far though, I'm keeping one eye on the trichomes and the other out for the first frost. I hope it wont turn out to be the photo finish I am anticipating.

Looking like mold weather to me. I am hoping my four super skunks from Nirvana don't start to mold or rot with the daily threat of showers and cool temperatures. They are all six feet tall, and the buds are looking good, but an October finish looks reasonable. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Anyone worried about Irma?
Changes day to day, and right now it looks like the worst will be in the south east. We will get remnants, which can still flood, but we will be spared the coastal damage if it makes landfall south of hatteras.

Mass/RI line here, the weather sucked yesterday (Sunday, 9/3). I didn't even realize it was raining overnight until I woke up and decided to throw my 2 girls inside my shed and leave the door open for air flow. That's the only thing that I can do with them, unfortunately. People with screened porches are so lucky to be able to put them inside when needed. My shed does do the job just fine but I wish I had a better way to deal with it. I need to purchase a decent greenhouse that I can take down each year (I'm sure snow would ruin it).

EDIT - I just checked the 10-day forecast for Southern New England and looks like we got about 3 to 4 solid days of rain coming this week. What a bummer.

Looks like FL is fuked this run. They haven't had a big un in well over a decade. Should be a lot of dumb asses ignoring the warnings. sad.
