Northern Lights Cabinet Grow..First Time

Took a few more pictures this morning. She is still growing well. Didnt need any water etc...lol. Hoping these buds will fill out some more.

Man those leaves are getting frosty!

i've said it before and i'll say it again... you're gonna have some massive colas man! holy sh... i'm impressed by how even they all are. they're just blowing up. have you been upping your bloom nutes? i'm curious how much you're feeding the lady these days, and are you still employing the make it rain schedule? whatever you're doing, it's working brotha.

Counting the popcorns there are 39-40 buds..lol..I keep losing count. I need to up the nutes next feed, which is tomorrow. I have been using molasses also. I havent used a full dose of nutes yet. I am starting to see some yellowing in her leaves, which I will address. And it is still raining..lol.

I started using the make it rain method and they love it....thanks and ur girl is sooooooooo frosty happy growing arch....

I'm loving it Arch, it's cool that you've become somewhat of the LST guru on your first grow. I can't wait to see what you do in the future, as I can see you becoming a regular fixture here on RIU. Keep those thumbs green man, plant is looking like FIRE!

I cant wait...Ill keep the naughty girl pictures coming as I can. There are a whole lot of folks right now making BUD PORN too. Maybe someday at a clandestine location we can have an RIU convention..lol. I will use LST pretty much forever or until I get a bigger grow area. Its fun making plants do what you want.

I appreciate that Meta but I had many go before me that broke that ground. I am an awesome imitator..lol. If I hadnt had so many good examples of what to do and how to do it..I wouldnt have done such a good job. I think about my next grow and I wonder how a different strain will effect how I LST. Time will tell.

Sheesh CHIEF..lol. I dont want to wait..but I will. I want to see her little bud get chunky. Ill be hitting her up good tomorrow with molasses and some nutes. Her leaves are a lgetting some slight yellowing and she may be cal or mag deficient. Molasses should take care of that. I need to feed her better.

Hey millyy! Thanks and yes it has. The first thing I do each morning is taker her out and stick my face into her and get a big ole whiff. She has a thick coffee smell after sleeping all night. As for room smell. Unless I get into he cabinet, the smell isnt very strong. If I were using any odor control, I would bet that there would be no real noticeable smell.

Fed her nutes and molasses today. Hoping to see some of that slight yellow in her leaves go away. I did a runoff check of the water and ph was right around 6.0. If the molasses doesnt bring the runoff up a bit in ph, I am going to add a little dolomite lime to the soil. I guess it is not uncommon for ph to drop somewhat in the soil during the later stages of flowering, so this isnt something out of the ordinary. I think on my next grow, I am going to mix in some dolomite with whatever grow media I choose to combat ph fluctuation during the growth cycles.

Hey Arch. I have a quick question and rather than scrolling through your thread for the 100th time to find out, thought I would just ask. Did you throw your girl into a dark period before flowering? I have read that like 24hrs of darkness prior to flowering is supposed to be beneficial. Any thoughts?

Yeppers I sure did. And actually my girl has had two 24 hour dark periods. The first was the intial transition to 12/12 and the second came when I reversed her schedule back to lights on during the day. I read the same thing and decided to give it a shot. I see how trichome development came pretty early on, so I am thinking that yes it did effect it somewhat. I also plan on puttign her in the dark for 24-36 hours just before I harvest. Many say that this also boosts last minute resin development. If I can get her dripping before harvest, I will..lol.
