Northern Lights x Big bud

Anyone know the estimated Flowering time on this strain? I would like to veg for 30 days starting Jan 1st but need to Finnish by april 15th, Because we are having our Basement remodeled, The second week of April.

You should be fine with the time frame you have. I only ever use breeders flowering times as a guide, i never stick to them exactly. Use your eyes to determine whether or not plant is ready or not.

using hydro will make things quicker. using soil may add a week or two.
If you have 3.5 months to flower the plants you SHOULD be fine. But I don't like counting on "should" and if I were you I'd cut a week off the veg. Considering using hydro mediums.
In soil you would finish in time only if you cut down a bit on the veg. time. At least from my experience.

You would get more yield cutting the herb in time while it has fewer colas than the yield you would get with well grown canopy that cut early.

After a 30 day veg period that would still leave 10 weeks. Even allowing for the plants to respond to the change in photoperiod, and even in humble old soil, can be pulled in within the given timeframe.

I never keep track of how long my grow goes. Too much factors into it. When it is done, it is done.

It is hard to plan your life around growing. It would be awesome if you could though. It should say something like...

"Your plant will be reading on March 14th at 3:04pm"

theres drying time too, thats a few more days to count.
