my carbon filter finally arrived, i turned on the a/c and the co2 and what a difference that makes i duno why i didnt build a sealed room years ago. the insulation and sound proofing works well dont see any temperature difference in adjacent rooms. ive decided to exhaust the room for an hour with the 4” inch fan to change all the air in the room as well as control the spike of humidity. did a bit of pruning things are turning into little bushes got 6 tops each.

starting to get larger, the one that was giving me some trouble is doing alot better, i decided to order some mycorrhizal inoculant i think when that arrives im going to move them to 5 gallon pales and try adding more mycorrhizal see how that goes.

well things are coming along i havent updated this in a while i think im about 72 days or so in. was having some ph issues things were testing at 5.0-5.2 and was seeing a magnesium deficiency added some lime and testing around 6.0 now my only fear now is the lime may push the ph too high but for now almost all the leaves that were yellow are back to a healthy green. seeing a bit of purple on new leaves pretty stoked to see the purple flowers on these the flowers should be purple right from the beginning rather than turning purple at the end of flower from my understanding the purple color on these ones is not temperature dependent.

so were 81 days in now i thought they would be alot bigger to be honest 1lb plants seems like an incredibly lofty goal. i think were going to dial it back a bit, instead of running 4000 watts in flower i think im gona do 600 watts over each plant since that seems more inline with there size so we’ll try 2400 watts this run. prolly tommorow im gona move the plants from there 5 gallon pots to 10 gallon bags and this time we’ll add 1 table spoon of lime to the new soil since promix tests too low. heres some photos

had some free time im now about 10 days since the flip the stretch seems to be over. i think i had a bit of light burn slightly stretched a bit fast for me i backed the lights up a bit. i really like these purple strains that are purple from the beginning rather than turning purple near the end.

well ive been pretty busy lately to update this i pulled them at 8 weeks after flipping the lights the indica dominant two i think could have been even pulled at 7 weeks ive never grown a true sub 8 week strain was interesting to see. the flowers ended up being a brandy wine color. on a side note ive never trimmed so much weed in my life it was 4 very long days of trimming for me and a close friend of mine im just guessing here but id say we pulled 3-4lbs anyway

i was bored so i felt like posting some more weed pics. i did finally dry everything and jar all the weed i crunched the numbers i hit 1.55 grams per watt using old school single ended bulbs lol

2400 watts divided by 1540 grams = 1.5558 grams per watt

thats 3.43 lbs off of 4 plants lol

WOW... Thanks for an awesome journal! I am from SW Ontario myself and I am getting ready to frame out a grow room myself. You have some great pics and advice on here. I can't wait to get mine started.. Not sure the route yet. I was thinking 2 3x4 rooms for veg/flower and a 2x4 room for drying. Maybe..... Could go bigger as I have the room but that means more $$$ for equipment and materials... We shall see.... Thanks again!

so its that time of year again where i make things with the trim and popcorn nugs i tried making gummy bears again and i've vastly improved since the last time made them i also changed my recipe and added more ingredients im going to be putting the recipe on here since i'll lose the paper as usual.

list of ingredients:
infused coconut oil
unflavored gelatin
box of jello
citric acid
lorann's super-strength candy flavoring
food coloring
lecithin

Step One: In a small bowl add 1/2 a cup of water. weigh and pour 28 grams of unflavored gelatin over top and gently mix with a fork until completely saturated. set aside for 5-10 minutes to allow for the gelatin to bloom

Step Two: while we wait for the gelatin to bloom in a small non-stick pot melt your 1/4 cup of infused coconut oil at 1-2 on your stove top.

Step Three: when the coconut oil is fully melted add contents of flavored Jello pack turn heat to "4" whisk contents try to get the coconut oil to full saturate the pack of jello dont leave on the stove too long 4-5 minutes is good.

Step Four: take your non-stick pot off the element on the stove. Add bloomed gelatin and whisk until completely dissolved.

Step Five: stir in one bottle of Lorann Super-Strength Candy Flavoring (try to match your candy flavoring with the flavor of jello it works better)

Step Six: Add 1 Tsp of Cirtric acid (this will change the ph and hopefully the candy will last longer, can add a bit more and taste it if your interested in doing sour candies)

Step Seven: add 1 Tsp of food coloring (again match the color of the jello with the color of the food coloring for vibrant colors)

Step Eight: add 1/2 Tsp of lecithin (can be substituted with liquid, if your using the granules put them in a coffee grinder and grind to a fine powder this ingredient is added last its important because it binds the oil and water together)

Step Nine: fill mold cavities

Step Ten: let the gummies sit in the molds for an hour and half or so befor taking them out, once there out of the molds can let them dry for a few hours depending on how chewy you want them to be.

also something to note: do not roll these gummies in sugar or citric acid they will melt.
