Not Enough Sunlight

If you have looked at the pictures of my plants then you have noticed that they are rediculously small. This is undoughtedly a result of the tree branches that block direct sunlight from reaching my plants. My question is: Does anyone have any ideas of how I can knock down some of these branches without doing anything that is really noticable. I normally would just shoot the branches down with my shotgun but there are neihbors(sp?) on both sides of the land and they would'nt be too happy about that, and no I'm not a redneck, I just own a shotgun. Remember that the branches are about 20-30 ft. up so I cant just break them myself. Any ideas are welcome. Thanks

Its pretty much not possible... Especially if they are 30 feet up... Trees that tall are probably pretty thick too so that would make it that much harder to cut... I say either move your spot or climb that tree and cut some small branches that might make a small difference...

u could climb up the tree and hack into the branches blocking ur plant from direct sunlight with a axe drenched intree or plant poison but that could get messy and u could die, i'd say look 4 somewhere else to grow, if ur growing on ur property going up in a tree every couple of days will start 2 look suspect

I would build a huge fire underneath the offending branches using lots of dry timber so that it does not create too much smoke.

The radiant heat travelling upward should kill the foliage on the offending branch without killing the whole tree.

It would seem that easy but I only have about 2 acres to work with that is FULL of trees. I did think about possibly gettin a long rope, throwing one end over the branches, twisting the rope and just pulling the branches down, breaking them as I pull. All I need now is a really long rope.
