I water when they need it. The dirt has nuts in it. Kind of like mg but "organic". The light is the swirl halogen one. Dint know the name off the top of my head. This is my first grow and pretty much using this grow as my learning curve till I get the propped lighting and equipment.
I have the light about 1.5" from the top of the "tall" ones. Before that it was about 6-8" from the top of the plants. Guess the main thing I'm asking is, are they supposed be more leaves or what?

They are stretched badly , trying to find some decent light , if i had a pound for everytime i told ppl this , do some research !! Riu has everything you need , there is no excuse Umbre!!
that's twice i spat coffee at my screen this week,
cheeerz :)

Re pot them , bury the stems ( they will be fine ) then they will be of normal stature and you can work from there , if you get the light closer that is ..........

not while stretching like that. re-pot and bury 3/4 of stem. mix a little peat and perlite in with that charged soil to dilute it.

I have seen that a lot on here. Lol yea by the time I got it closer to the light, they were stretched. Keep going or start over? Been doing a lot of research and its all really helpful....just haven't found much on what to do at this junction.

I grow more than 1 plant in each pot sometimes , normally with clones not seeds,
it has advantages , less veg time , more yield , i can post a whole article from issue 6 soft secrets if you wish , explaining this technique .....
Peace Umbre....

is the "swirly halogen" bulb youre referring to a CFL or is it really a halogen light? halogen lights arent used for growing and the plant wont grow at all, it will stretch until it falls over and dies which is what your plant looks like its doing. just grab some cfls (daylight AKA 5600K type) and put em right above the plant and replant as stated earlier and you will be good to go.

Good terminology right? It is a clf. I got it from a buddy. Going to go get new lighting here soon. Like issue I started out away from the light. So going to repot and get closed and go from there.

get that lil cfl right down on the plants real close. do yrself a favor and buy some decent light instead of adding more and more cfls. i always see people adding more and more cfls thinking its cheaper. by the time u add enough cfls u coulda bought an hps. 600w hps pound for pound is the most efficient light there is.
