not sure if i should flower or not

Hey hows everyone doin. So i have 2 afghan #1 going they are the freebies from herbies. Supposedly the same seeds from seedsman. Im looking to get a harvest soon due to not having any meds for the past month and a half :(. I will be using a 600w hps never used the bulb and will be throwing in flower roughly on the 15th or so. So they will be about a month and a half old in veg. Basically im just wondering if that would be to soon? I would only need maybe 3 oz to stretch till the next harvest of 6 brain escape 2 afghan #1 and a delahaze. As i have those in veg and will try to get full potential. Any feedback is welcome. My feelers arent hurt easily so bring it on!!!! Lol i dont have to much of a budget so possible diy ideas to improve would be amazing. I have maybe $100 a month i cpuld put into it

I have the same ones. They are slow when grown from seed aren't they. I veged one from seed 72 days and it only got 3ft tall but it has at last count 103 coloas on it. They take longer than 45 days to, the breeder didnt count the 2 wks transition period. Its more like 60 to 65 days. If you put those in flower now i wouldnt expect 3oz from them. Hope you got better beans than me cause the high from it sucks. It takes 4grams at a time of it to med me.

O damn ya i hope i did get some better ones lol. The other beans i have going popped maybe a week ago and are growing soooo much faster than these 2 did. How much u think i would get?

Do you mean its the exact same as this ?

I grew this a few years ago, i had one ok pheno out of 6 or 7
i think its a landrace, it was certainly unstable lots of runts and plants that would not flower correctly

still the plant that did turn out ok had a nice hash flavour which is what i was looking for

Yes its the same one. Same pheno crap here to. I was looking for breading stock LOL It sure it'n this breeders strain of it. So the search continues.

i killed all but one off by 5-6 weeks, most just did not form proper flowers
what was your goal,with the breeding ?

I have a sweet island sk /northern lights ive been working now for almost 2yrs. Just wanted to try increasing reason production and faster flower time is all i wanted the AF for.

i have always wanted to give that sweet island a run without the NL , looks like a good yield and big stretch which i like

i notice a lot of the newer breeders were using "the white" for this type of thing
cutting the flower time of the more sativa doms and packing on the resin
before this, there were quite a few deep chunk crosses around

good luck with your afghan search :)

Yea but the white makes you tired and so does the sk so if you mix them its good night. id never stay awake to enjoy. LOL

Level out that canopy and send em in you have more seedlings ready to go by the time those finish in flowering your seedlings will be perfect size as well 3oz is easily manageable happy growing :weed:

I think we all have those seeds :) I was wondering why they gave those away. Non-fem seeds aren't much use to me, personally so I guess it is meant for breeding and crossing.

Maybe if you can get them in a bigger pot they will grow more in flower? Just a thought. Best of luck.
