20170124_092135.jpg 20160820_173230.jpg Bwahahaha yes run a hydro store the only light i havent grown under is a cob. What does that have to do with underwatering and to much nitrogen?
I still grow under leds at the shop but leds only give 2.4 umole per watt and cmh is 3.8 umole per watt cob leds are best with 4.0 umole per watt. The thing to watch in the next 10 years is plasma lighting but its whare leds were 20 years ago.

do you know ANYTHING about using a LED to grow with?

Fyi dont believe everyrhing you read. To plants light and co2 are the calories and nutes are the vitamins and minerals. The stronger the light the more "calories" lots of calories make big plants big plants need lots of vitamins
Low light makes tiny plants tiny plants need less vitamins.
That said little 90w leds wouldnt need any nutes in a good soil but the 600w led would need lots of nutes. 1100 umole is 1100 umole wether led or hid or cmh. Plant dosnt care whare it comes from. The difference is how many watts of power it takes to produce that 1100 umole. (or 1900 umole if your under a 1000w hps, 630w cmh 750w led or 550w cob)

quote, OP
I only gave grow nutrients once at half strength and the plants really didn't seem to like it. That was week 3 or 4. Nothing since.
On Wednesday, I watered with 1/4th strength nutrients and all plants seem much happier, are reaching up, and There are not fan leaves dropping off fast like there was before. The pots already appear dry this morning Sunday, would I be crazy to water again? It really seems like the plants want water. All these plants are in 3-5 gallon pots, minus the one guy in a 7 gallon smart pot, so I would assume with the baby pots they might need more watering? Thank you all for your advice.

I have another question, should there be a fan blowing air directly on the plants? Or just above and below? Is there such thing as too much wind in the grow space?

If were talking live plants there is such a thing as too much. Wind burn. I have never personally seen it and run a lot of fans blowing directly onto plants.

If the pot is light in feel and soil is dry, i would water again with same 1/4 strength nutes. i water with nutes EVERY time. Just at small amounts. I never give it full strength.

IMHO, it looks like the start of russet mites or hemp russets . whichever you choose. the 3rd or middle pic you posted looks like
a clear sign. you have to scope them because theyre so small but they will devastate your garden fast if not found STAT!! get a scope and look for tiny worm like critters in by the leaf vein. and I mean tiny!!! get a good scope too at least 30x and watch slowly since they cant move very fast!! even he most seasoned gardener will argue nute def and then POW!! its too late. Scope closely, spray 50/50 iso and water that will kill any adults good luck everyone google russet mites before jumping on my back. lol I know what I'm talking about with these bastards many growers do not. these things mean business and they build a resistence to pesticides very rapidly. scope scope scope asap!!
