Now officially a MMP. Caregivers???

It doesn't have to be personal. You can have five patients, and some of them may also have patients, and the rest can go to the compassion center. Either way it's a learning curve and will take effort when you start out. It may not be HARD work but it does require effort.
Please correct me if i'm wrong, i most likely am, but i thought that only caregivers could have patients, not patients. The OP is a patient, not a caregiver. I was not arguing that it doesn't have to be personal, i was pinting out that if he is having to put in that many hours a week his grow has nothing to do with him being a patient and needing a smoke, his grow is setup on the basis that it is going to make him lots and lots of money. 25-35 hours a week must be what, 75-100 plants or more.

My point however, was that for a patient to get cannabis, they can grow it without any work, all it takes is filling up a bucket once a week.

For some people its not that easy. I dont think its crazy complicated either but some people cant keep plant alive... i can confidently say it takes time time time though. Alot of gardeners are perfectionists also... in my garden i enjoy sitting in there an looking at all the details of the plants lol. May not help them any but i just like too.

25-35 hours a week clearly indicates this is ANYTHING but personal medical use.

Assume if you must but I have a sister in law with a stage 4 glioblastoma brain tumor. 1 lb = about 20 days worth of Tears for her. There are countless others who's health and well being rely on the state of my rooms too so........It's ALL personal use as far as I'm concerned

Even so, when I taught, people were BLOWN AWAY at the time they found themselves investing,....not something they planned on because people who already knew how to do it told them "how easy" it is

Other peoples health and well being rely on your grow. That is exactly my point. The grow is not for your own consumption, it is for multiple others. KJ is looking for a caregiver so he can get weed for himself, i was pointing out that to grow weed for oneself is very easy and requires little effort or time. I setup my grow so that it would require about 30 minutes a week at most, if i had had the freedom of the entire flat to myself it would have taken 5 minutes a week.

15k posts and this is your summation of growing quality meds? Not to be a smartass but is it a bucket of MAGIC that checks ph, ppm, checks for pests, temps, transplanting, trimming, running to the hydro store, changing bulbs, cleaning, and the endless list of chores to do to support a grow? I need me a dumpster of that shit bro.

Share the knowledge, 15 yrs ago when I was still in a closet it still took a heck of a lot more than a 1/2 hr a week. I see your point, but try to keep it a hair more realistic for the op, growing isnt for everyone, it can own you, ....or set u free

I think my tone has undermined your message, which is the same as mine ,....free yourself from the system, establish independence with a garden of your own (just don't thinking its as easy as growing a plant on the windowsill)

All i had to work with was a small closet, so i chucked a 20 and 40L tote in there and ran a dwc setup. I would fill the tote up on saturday on my day off, and not look at it again till the following saturday where i would lift the lid off with the plants, sit that on a spare empty tote, and then fill the grow tote back up. That was it. Never checked ph and never checked ppm. Sure a lot of plants ended up with yellow or rusted leaves, but i expected that, and i still happily got upto 5-10oz per tote of fantastic weed. It grows itself.

I agree with LBH and NoBarriers. I am a first time grower and I think it's a little misleading to say it requires "no effort". I have a small indoor medical grow and it requires scheduled upkeep. You could just dump some seeds in the ground. I think that's about as close to no effort as you can get but that's still illegal. I spend a little less than an hour a day in my rooms and I currently only have 4 plants.

I absolutely would grow myself if I had the space, but I live in a 1 bedroom apartment in an apartment building so space is a little limited which is why I'm looking for a caregiver.

Hey LBH

I'm sorry to hear about your sister in law. I am very curious to know how the tears is working out for her. Have a similar situation and looking for some hopeful stories. Thank you.

Peace.

I used to but now I have a wife and kids and way too much on my plate to run around the state. I run a private grow group on f/b that we set up a few years back to help our students and to help each other with resources etc, 74 RI growers, there to help. If you give it a go, get back to me and I'll bring you into the group and you will have a mass of great teachers at your fingertips. These forums aren't a bad idea either. Read the stickies in the general growing and indoor sections to start. Grow 'Em Up!
