awesome, i cant wait till people start getting locked up for not having proper health insurance. hopefully they incorporate it into the motor vehicle laws so when they stop you, and your vehicle stuff is good, they can also check your health insurance. if you aint in "compliance" ....get fined and straight to jail.! AWESOME! you libs are great at thinking all these new freedoms. liberty is awesome and you guys are great! but dont worry, it will be good for everyone. trust the govt, they are awesome!!

btw check out the data in the bill they are predicting to get from fines. like a trillion. at least this wont effect the poor.

sorry to quote you again my friend... but we need to stop looking at the parties like they are dissimilar... Okay the common democrats are for BIG spending... and abortion... the common republicans are for BIG spending and sometimes against abortion...

The point is, THEY ARE THE SAME... These people(and thats what they are, people just like me and you..but dont tell them that..).. just want MORE POWER. They in my eyes are the same.

It is so obvious what the problem is... If your problem is spending too much money(which that is exactly OUR problem), then what does the current(and previous) government do... they spend more!...
this is the same thing as having an alcoholic trying to fix his dependence, then having the government give him more alcohol .but instead of the government buying it... the person with the problem is actually buying it with his/her own taxes

Im sick of this mad cruel world we live in, I was just telling my Wifey the other day if the world really does end soon it has it coming, there is too much wicked and violence in the world anymore.

Fining and /or imprisoning somebody for failing to purchase something, for "their own good" ...hmmm.
Smells alot like freedom of choice getting flushed right down the toilet.

I don't intend to purchase insurance because somebody else insists that I do at the point of a gun. I don't intend to pay any fine or submit to jail willingly. I doubt I'm alone in these sentiments.

This may get swept under the rug. They may be granted some kind of limited exception status based on religion.

Essentially the feds have determined no "new" religions can be started though.
So much for freedom of religion.

Imprisoning the Amish might generate too much bad P.R. , but never underestimate the stupidity and lust for total control of the federal government.
