I am a newbie using a bubble DWC system. What N-P-K amounts should I use for each phase? Any recommended brands? Preference would be to something I could pick up at a local home and garden center but I am will to hear all advice as I desperately need it. I was think about using Jack's Classic 30-10-10 for veg and 10-30-20 for bloom. Thanks!

The Jack's Classic would be good for the growth stage and the other one should work for your blooming.

I would be ok but a nutrient with a gud nitrogen(N) ratio would be better since marijuana would need a gud suplly of nitrogen during vegging. and make sure u dont go full strength on the nutes! 1/2 or 1/3 strenght would be gud!

Cheers :)

i havent grown yet but people use 20-20-20 for vegging and 10-30-20 for flowering, since nitrogen is gud at veggin, and phosprus is gud at flowering. the real important this is not to overdose

here ya go dude, this is what I found. I was curious too. This is from High times 03. It is what I am using. To get your nutes to the right str then dilute them until they look right.

Knowing NPK maked it a whole lot more fun. YOu can custome tailor everyhting. Next learn about soil. Learn about bacteria and organics. You will soon blow all the expensive crap outa the water. Seriously all this stuff for marijuan does not look right at all.

2 good ones I can recomend are Age old organics, which is close. But the best Is Blue Mountain Organics with their foliar spray poured into their flower power. Cool. Also you will see that a lot of lawn and other things on the Worm,s Way organic section look pretty tight. One guy just uses 2 fish products. But they relaly do stink. Worm's way I would use as an idea place or an eye opener as i here some sights are known as cnnabis vendors.
VEGETATIVE:
Seedlings 2-1-2
Early Vegetative 4-2-3
Mid-Vegetative 10-5-7

FLOWERING:
Cycle Changeover 7-7-7
Early Flowering 5-10-7
Mid-Flowering 6-15-10
Late Flowering 4-10-7

even more important is the ratios. You can go way higher but use the same ratios. Looking a them you can easily discern what ratios I mean.;)

Do you think Jack's 10-30-20 would be ok?
When I was growing in soil (aero now) , I used Peter's Jack's Classic 20-20-20 for veg and Jack's Classic Blossom Booster 10-30-20 for flowering. The plants ended up very nice ... in fact, High Times quality.

I've always said ... if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

well I hear that, Jacks fkower has the ratios I was talking about and my soil in veg I have added guano and fish to bio bizz grow and have yet to burn. My best plant right now has only water fed a few feeds.

i did an experiment. soil is a great buffer. the plant will eat what it needs. That plant had some rich ffof soil.

Use Botanicare Grow, 3-2-4
Bloom, 2.5-2-5
And definitely use Karma, .1-.1-.5

Good stuff! Take care using it in DWC, seems like the plants burn if it is used more than once per 7 days. Plants look really healthy and am VERY pleased! Also go to Wal-Mart and get a bottle of SUPER-THRIVE too.
