NPK ratio for vegging

Cotton seed 7-2-2
Bloodmeal 12-0-0
Bonemeal 0-10-0
Blackstrap molasses 0-0.5-3
Bat guano 10-2-1 or 12-12-2.5
Worm castings 1-0-0

Do I need anything else for vegging? And which guano do you think will work better to achieve the best NPK ratio for vegging. I'll probably be using some regular backyard soil. Growing querkle, LSD, and super lemon

Also I'm still trying to get this npk ratio down, if I have a one gallon pot and I put 2 tbls of cottonseed and 1 of the bloodmeal, is the ratio 2 x 7-2-2 + 12-0-0 or is it still 7-2-2 + 12-0-0? And is cottonseed acidic enough to help control my ph? please help.

Suggestion scrap the bone AND BLOOD GO WITH FISHBONE MEAL. Also throw in some alfafa, some kelp meal, crab meal will help you also. Good luck Dirrtyd

Yep, you need some kelp meal for K and alfalfa meal just because it's so good for everything.

Cottonseed meal is not recommended for use in containers, at all. It is also so acidic, you need tons of lime to neutralize it. Something like 10lbs of lime for every 100lbs of CSM.

You've got plenty of K in there for veg don't need any more. I agree with using the kelp meal and fish products. You want to reduce the N a little and up the p and k during bloom. do this by making algae tea with molasses.

If you want to boost K you can add powdered biochar (charcoal) as a topdressing and water.

I found some maxicrop seaweed and some Alaska fish fertilizer, Will this work with the bloodmeal, worm castings , and a high nitrogen guano. I was thinking about mixing the seaweed, fish fert, and molasses to water with during vegging.

I don't count the nutes in molasses at all. The amounts are so small and the amount of molasses I use is so small, they just aren't considered.

Never have used the guano. Not available locally and I won't pay to have it shipped, especially when alfalfa meal is available and $17 for a 50# bag.

Kelp meal supplies way more than just K, micros and minerals galore. Slow release, so it will last for the entire grow. I'll put it this way, if it wasn't available locally, I would pay to have it shipped.

The maxicrop will do just fine. The AFF is some kind of smelly if this is indoors.

My wife has banned it after my first and only use. Works great outside though.

Forget the NPK, your Organics will balance out. Use any & all meals that you please. Your feeder roots as "Little Teeth", they can't chomp down on that meal until the Microbs breaks it down for you/them. And in doing so, they will micro-mix your meal, if it's mixed properly. Yeah, you can mix all that shit together, seaweed, fish, mollases, etc. You need to add the molasses to accelerated the microbial life in your soil, which will make it 10 times faster to absorb via the Little Teeth. Spray with seaweed to add Nutes (seaweed has 90 different componets), and also causes the trunk & stems to become so tough that Spider Mites can't gnaw into the bark. Which also means a stronger plant structure. The Alfalfa is some amazing stuff. I would deffinately use it. I'd check & use "Rose Glo" for your flowering aspect. In Veg, I'd also use "Growing Green". Some Zealite, Epsom & Wholeground Cornmeal is a must. With all the above, You'll have some very healthy Ladies, and health is the key. I use Rabbit Manure as my base soil, with a handfull of earthworms per plant. (Red Wigglers). Always Greensand, of course. A good site is the Library on the Dirt Doctor's web site. Hope this helped.

I decided to go with some soilless mix from botanicare, earth juice grow, along with humboldt nutrients micron and flavorful, and blackstrap molasses.
