NPK ratios.

Alright, so I'm into week 4 of flower with my plants. They look great so far, no problems. I'm feeding Dyna-Gro Bloom, Pro-Tekt, and Mag-Pro, and sometimes a little Gaia juice. My question is how do I keep my NPK ratios where they should be? I know what they stand for, (Nitrogen, Phosphorous, Potassium), but how do I know my ratios are correct? I'm feeding them the recommended dosages for each week. My PH ranges anywhere between 6.2-6.6. What were to happen if I added a little big bud in there?

just feed them at the correct ppm for their age, and you shouldn't have to worry about it. i'm guessing that you're in soil based on what you're ph'ing to. at week 5 you can use a pk booster for a week. i always use it, and the plants seem to like it as well... (remember to reduce your base nutes when using a pk booster.)

But how do I measure parts per millions (PPM)? I'm using Dyna-Grow and I'm following their nute schedule. http://www.dyna-gro.com/Website pdf Files/DG Hydroponic Feeding Chart.pdf Also, I don't PH my run-off.

you need a ppm meter to do that, and to ph. i never check run-off, unless the plants display an issue.

So without a ppm meter I will never know if my ratios are right? Or will I just have to keep following the schedule, hoping it stays right. The plants haven't shown any signs of underfeeding or deficiency 20140224_223210.jpg
