Today is the day.. I am just gonna goto walmart and get some more items and then I am going in there and chopping. Man I wish I would get 2 lbs but I am thinking I only have 16-18 Oz in there cause the girls are stunted I dont know though. I aint gonna weigh the wet shit just the dry. I will take pics and let yall know my progress.. Its a cool damp rainy day.. Good day to stay inside and harvest..

yea i trim them up fast but i only do an extreamly rough trim for personal use

I am about to start and I an concerned my processes are going to be messed up.

I am gonna first create a dry box or two for the smaller buds

Then I am gonna start clipping off branches from the bottoms, trimming them and hanging them in the boxes.

I am going to work my way up the plant til I get to the bigger buds and colas.

I was gonna just hang the larger buds and colas outside a box in the room

Turn off the fans and turn the ventalation systems down to low...

I have two metal bowl larger and smaller; frosting trimmings in the large and other trimmings in the other or paper bag.

Put my used Hydroton in container(s) for cleansing and reuse.

I dont really have a table do I need one?

Anything I am forgetting or might be helpful?

Ahhh man I only have 2 done outa 17 and I have been going for two hours.. LOL fuck my hands hurt from this normal scissors.. LOL I kinda knew this would only be fun in theory.. lol

Okay got that all done at about 7 pm last night. I did end up recruiting my partner to get that job done al in all about 12 hours total.. Now the fun part cleaning the hydroton and getting it ready for reuse. Also prepping my room and sterilizing it it and stuff.

I have to say scissor hash wow... I lovey dovey.. I started mincing up my leaves cause I noticed it created more.. lol I love that stuff got like 3 bowls while chopping and I have about 3-4 extra to use.

I didnt realy get pics I will try to later on when I aint so exhausted. The flash wont work on the camera I use. I am excited; I think I got some great quality buds.

Right on bro! Great job! You did it! Next go will be easier and the next even easier. That said there will be some bumps in the road too but they won't feel so mysterious and you will be able to deal with them from a different frame of mind. Thanks for keeping us in the loop thru the whole grow. And again a big congrats to you!

Ok so here is an update... I am a bit disapointed but oh well..

Today is a week after I chpped them the outside of them is getting crispy so I canned them today for curing.

I weighed them and ONLY 13 ouces total... =-( makes me sad but I know the problem... They had no root development. The second grow is underway.

I tried to make bubble hash with my bubble bags. I dont know what went wrong. Its supposed to be so pure it bubbles mine wasnt pure at all it seems, sure didnt bubble; certainly didnt have that hash taste the scissor hash had.. Man was that stuff great, All my collected resin was green for one, not golden or brown like I seen in videos. I collected it, and let it dry like a couple days then I tried to press it; I couldnt ever get it black or brown always green? WTF pisses me off oh well I am a nube. My small plants didnt have sugar leaves or trimmings. Or anthing lol

I also tried green dragon I dont think it fucked me up like I was expecting. I used bracardi 151 and put it in a mug I used a whole 375 and used like an eighth of semi dried buds and some of that fief powder like a couple grams. Anyways cooked the shit in a pot surrounded by water. Sometimes the water would start to boil and I would turn back the heat a bit. The alcohol never boiled really more then a bubble or two here and there for like 20 seconds total tops. Anyways the stuff is green, I drank it, I fell asleep after about 2-3 hours and dont recall feeling wasted, did I do something wrong?

Anyways thats about it for now, ohh yeah my buds aint all tight, like the look all fluffy like some home grown LOL now I know mine is home grown but I was expecting tighter buds from 2k watts. Maybe they will be tighter this time round. It was crazy there was NO more roots then there was when I started flowering, and like 2/3 less then I expected and seen in threads with my system. I know theres alot of room for improvement. I am just thinking not using those cubes will be key. rapid Rooter into pots this time round

did you decarb the weed in the oven before you cooked it in the jar? 225 f for 45 min in the oven


if you dont decarb it wont work well most specially if its brand new buds cuz they have 0 decarb

its takes months to get them fully 100% decarbed at room temp that why you decarb it in the oven first. only reason you get high when smoking non decarbed weed is the lighter decarbs it as it turns it into smoke right before you inhale it

but also i never tried it 151 but heard it works but not as well.

I used 151; I put the trimming in the microwave for like 20 seconds 3 times letting stand 45 seconds in between. WHAT DO YOU USE?

I only had about 2 shots... I weigh 190 lbs

I also put that kief or pollen in the microwave too..

My weed is also a bit harsh and also still has that grass smell. I am slow curing it in jars now.. I am hoping that smell goes away.

My next batch is going great so far. I am going out today and buying an additional 6 pots so I will have a total of 30 now lol. This will give me 13 more plants then this harvest and I know they will be 2-4 times the size. I plan on giving them maximum growth environment next to what they had the last grow.

I wanna have some green dragon that destroys me.. I also was hoping for some hash that would also and I could just take a hit here and there and not worry that much about smoking buds..

Hmmm oh well theres always the next try I anticipate I will get much more trim.

Sorry to hear your dissapointment. As I said earlier it will get better and easier each time with some bumps along the way. Large roots = large plants/buds. My hash dosn't bubble either but it tastes great and gets me HIGH. don't know what you did different. No frosty trim leaves? next time. Keeps us posted.

Veg for long enough to get the proper height and root mass for growing space. Put it in the flower room next to your other setup and water/feed when needed.

I just harvested 5lbs from 9 plants and have many oz of frosty trim to make hash with. I only watered every other day. no res, no pumps, no Ph swings, no leaks.... the word is KISS.

Thanks Caz I know things will get easier and my yields will go up. I am looking forward to it. I will try to do a mix like that but I am gonna be pretty tight with 30 pots in there. I am gonna run my new batch on 24 hours for like 2 or 3 more days then they are gonna go into the system and start the 18/6. They are starting their second set of fan leaves now. I am thinking 3 or 4 sets and transplant them and go 18/6.

I think ill stop posting on this thread, my grow is done and you guys were very helpful. I am onto the next.

I do have 13.89 oz of herb right now or like 389 grams. I tink I said 13 oz before its closer to 14 but I assume its not done drying out weight even during curing.

I have my 10 Fem White Widow, Crystal, and Ice, and 5 hash bomb going now. All but 2 hash bombs came up, only one other was retarded and that was removed so I have 31 left. I have 30 pots to put them in.

ya man the microwave will destroy your weed more times than not

you gotta decarb it in the oven

then make dragon with it, i use everclear

heres the recipe i got it typed up from another post:


ok gentlemen i have refined the recipe throughout years of research and years of trials


best strongest way to do it is take your buds about 8 - 9 grams to one of those 350ml bottles of everclear

so you take 8 gram grind it to dust, put it in a mason jar, put the mason jar with weed in it in the oven at exactly 225 deg f for 45min to 1 hour

this decarbs your weed 100% to make it all active

the take the jar and let it cool or it will shatter when you pour evercler in it

you can cool it fast with a fan if in a rush like i always am

then take a pot of water and put on the stove just under boiling

fill up the correct amount of everclear in the jar of weed

leave a shot of ever clear in the bottle

take the jar put it in the pot of water and let the everclear boil, it boils at 170 deg f which it below the boiling point of water in your pot,

never leave it and stir always you can burn your house down its not a game so have a fire extingusher ready and watch it the whole time

let the everclear boil lightly for 30 min

remove the jar,

dump the contents of the jar in a mesh coffee filter the reusable kind and strain out the weed,

take the shot of evercler you left in the bottle and pour it over the weed in the filter to get any left over thc caught in the weed,

take your green dragon concentrate mix it with 35 - 50 % water to make it drinkable,


this will be very potent and tastes like complete shit so take it with a lot of chaser, beginners should not even take a half a shot at a time it may blast you into a nightmarish high for like 6 - 12 hours if you over do it,

this makes about 1 gram primo bud per shot, so half a shot is like eating 1/2 gram primo

im a pro and cant take more then 2.5 shots without freaking out

if you take too much and freak out the antidote is liquor or beer, it will make you calm down right away and allow you to enjoy the high.


lol BL the tables have turned, now im out of good weed and smoking street shwag and you got 13 ozs of primo

i got 1 more week to go about

Thanks man, I will try this recipe out. I have been having fun with canabutter. Made some peanutbutter cookies... mmm sooo damn good, some browies, eghh they were ok. I also LOVE those firecrackers. I put mine in graham crackers, with that jet puff marshmellow stuff and some milk chocolate morstels.. OMG soo nummy and fuck you up. I am gonna try decarbing that way though.

I already burnt my next grow. I didnt put ANY nutes in the ppms starting creeping up, before I new it ppms were at 300? WTF anyways a 2 day flush and another change I am 10 days in the veg cycle and got 4/5 nodes and branch buds already. Already way better then the last time with the small mishap. Only affected like 4/30 ladies and just the bottom set of leaves curled up bad with some spotting. Anyways I got ppms at 75 now and they are back going great. Learning new stuff always. man PH is being a bitch aain wtf, thought I had that under control. My runn off is sooo high.. My res could be 5.83, controller tank/run off 5.98, buckets like 6.15. I dont think thats good so I have been keeping my res LOW at like 5 and then that feeds them at like 5.7-5.9 ish. Anyways Ill followup to Caz below and add on.

I wasnt planning on it unless I need help. I aint one to say LOOK AT WHAT I AM DOING AND GOT. I GROW the BEST WEED. LOL. I just needed help and I am off to a shaky, but more stable better second grow. So I dont know.. I might do a journal down the road but I think I am 1-3 more grows away from being the master I want to be and to document it. If I have problems I will. Besides you and BigP are the only ones that look and reply to my threads anyways I can just email yall.. lol.

I tell ya though chasing the ph sure has me thinking about your grow style. LOL, I think my rocks just keep spiking my PH up and since my plants are as big as the other ones were yet they cant stableize levels like the feeding plants did. Anyways I am 10 days into veg they are 2.5 inches have a few nodes, some branches starting. Such a rollercoaster of fun, on my third res already. The way I see it is if I can do better then I did last time and have 17 more plants ohh mann will I be good.

Here are some final pics from the grow.

Also I moved my controller bucket outside of the room for the next grow. This gives me more space as I added 6 buckets.

In addition I added an extra exhaust fan to help puch the light heat outside.

The pic of the duct is my intake fan. I am thinking about putting a register right in front of it to control temp better in the grow room. Temps are geting up to 85 in there.
