I figured the shot was to far back for it to be the macro lens. I only have the tube extension instead of a macro lens, so I just thought maybe I was wrong and the macro lens could take shots from that distance. Once I throw the smallest tube on, my stock lens cant physically focus for a shot like that. I have to be within 4-5 inches.

Interesting number of growers seem to really excel at photography. Listen to you guys. I'd like to think the herb frees up the mind for such creativity.

Working in manual is a beautiful thing. Especially when you have a nice wide prime lens with a wide aperture. You can get some killer bokeh with your dof.

And another color-grade, pop.

Mind blowing work Nug! I have planted some seeds to give this method a try. A couple questios please:

Where do you get your smart pots? I have never seen the light colored versions before. How do you water your beauties?

How do you deal with pests? It looks like you are out in the country where I am sure you have your fair share of gnarly bugs.

That has got to be the most perfect grow I have ever seen! A true work of art!

Bravo!!!

Cheers,
Mo

hey mo....i get my smarties from my local grow shop.....they are all over the net, and shipping is cheap cause they are so light....i manage pests by keeping my room and greenie very clean, and when they are outside, they are sitting on a gravel bed, or geo tex fabric, far away from tall vegetation......i work hard on establishing a heathy herd of bennies within my soil, so the health of the plants is the biggest deterent of pests.......i will use neem twice through the veg and early bloom, and serenade twice through bloom to ensure i don't have any mold/mildew problems...thank you for the compliments.......nugs

There you go. I like to also inoculate with BTI and Nematodes. Crab meal is also high (did someone say high?) on my list for pest control
