NugSmasher Coming in What to Smash lol

Hello All, This is my first post on the site so please forgive me. I am receiving my Nugsmaher mini next week and I have a few questions. I have been running through the forums for answers but it seems like there is more debate than anything. I wanted to ask everyones suggestions because I am getting mixed reviews on a lot of stuff. I was interested in pressing rosin out of actual buds and I have a trim bin so the sift that comes out of that I wanted to press that and I've also heard briefly of people smashing the actual trim. Does anyone have any experience with any of these. If so can you give any tips or trips on any of the processes. Thanks in advance for any and all help.

Lol do you get good rosin from trim

Never done trim, just buds and kief

Anybody ever press trim?

I'm still watching all the people with their rosin presses and I still don't have one but from what I've heard all the cool people squish buds or hash. It sounds like trim doesn't yield much. Turn trim into kief/hash then squish that. Then you'll be cool too.

UrbanPilot I've pressed trim and it was a mess, no yield.

I was advised, and I advise you, to extract the trichome heads using [a dry sift tumbler] then deciding from there if you're going to press the kief into rosin.

I also pre-press it and put it into a micron mesh bag when extracting
