That's normal...
they are usually an odd number and go up at the cola.
Mine fan leaves have 5 at the bottom of the plants and 11 at the cola.
Depends on the strain though how many blades it will get.
It doesn't really tell you anything. you cant ID a strain like that.

its just where the plant is 'growing up' starts out with a few then goes up till its mature, some indicas stay with only 5/7 fingers, while i have a sativa with nine fingers, not sure if thats a usual thing but my plants have always started with 3fingers in seedling stage 5 at start of veg and at least 7 jus before/during flower out of interest cane is ya 11 fingered plant a sativa?

It's a NLXH (Northern Lights x Haze) hybrid. The male, who is no longer with us, had 11. The females still have 9 though... I'm not sure if they will ever get that many. Kinda sad cause i wanted seeds. I didn't have room though. my plants are almost as tall as i am and i still have not switched the lights to 12/12. I think i might have to cut them in half to make room for some bud.
