Nute Burn, Nitrogen Deficiency or Something Else? Puzzled

Hello guys please go easy on me, I really need your guidance. This is my second ever grow. The first time was a few years ago and I used dirt from my backyard. This time I got 6 clones and I'm using FFOF and 600W full spectrum LED in 3x3 grow space. I only planned on getting 4 but their minimum was 6. 1 week into it and some are okay, some are light green and some just look sick. Why? They're all in the same soil, watered with tap water adjusted to 6.5. The guy I got them from suggested nute burn from soil being too hot and said to flush the soil. So I did. But some are showing signs of nitro deficiency. I'm thinking of repotting with 50/50 happy frog and seeing if they bounce back. No additional nutrients added yet. What do you suggest?

I may be wrong but I don't think FFOF has nutes in it. I don't believe it's going to be hot on its own with just tap water, just to let you know.
It doesn't look like signs of burn or hot soil to me at all.
The variation could come from different nutrient levels in the mother plants, are they all the same strain?
Plant #1 looks good. Plant #3 and #5 are showing signs of Calcium/Magnesium deficiency.
I would say start adjusting them to 1/4 or 1/2 strength nutrients of Grow and Calimag if you aren't using nutes already. Yellowing from tips is normally Nitrogen deficiency, extremely very dark leaves would be too much N. Purple stems+yellow leaves normally CaMg.
Be very careful until they recover its easy to burn them with Nitrogen at this stage. Flush in between very light weekly feedings.
Many people use tap water but I swear by RO. If it would not be too expensive you could use gallons of water for a little while that would rule out some problems.

Think of clones like mini adults they eat the same.

FFOF has plenty of pre charge nutes that last 2-4 weeks maybe too much.

I stay away from pre charge soils so I know what's going on with the food instead of guessing.

Why are you doing multiple plants in the same pot?

You notice one is bigger than the other?

Are you over watering?

Flush is taking them to the bathtub and putting 5x the pot volume through each one. Just saying.

I guess hot soil or genetics.

Good luck

Maybe those rockwool cubes are staying too wet. Try building a dam around the cubes with dirt, may help keep them from getting oversaturated.

They should each be in their own individual pot and I'd cover the rockwool cubes completely with my substrate. Next did they have roots coming out of the rockwool cubes before you put them in soil? I'm not a soil grower so this is where my help ends. I hope they survive this for you.

They're all the same strain, Rozay. I noticed some of the roots were not very strong on some of them. Did not even penetrate the rockwool yet. I put 2 in one pot because I thought they were still small enough for that so I wouldn't waste resources. I read a lot of new growers getting scolded for putting babies in big pots lol. I will separate them out tonight. Make sure substrate covers rockwool etc... The soil kind of settled after watering. I guess I need to plant deeper. I still plan on getting HF and mixing up 50/50.

Still open to all other advice. Thanks guys.

Maybe @Tangerine_ can offer a few words of wisdom here.

I think everyone has covered all the basics with the info given but I'll give it a try -

One looks fine, the others look over watered, and the wilted one has probably suffered some root trauma.

Next time put use smaller individual pots. Its much easier to get a good root mass that way.

Right now, they need to time to dry from being flushed and time to acclimate to you enviorment.

Thanks Tangerine_ I always feel out of my element with soil.

My soil grows could use some work too. I've found to really get the most out of it, where its "water only" you need large beds of rich living soil, and even then, it takes at least three runs before everything's jiving in harmony. Just layering a bunch of random amendments isn't enough.
The real knowledge is with the growers in the organic section. They really know their stuff, but its easy to get lost down some of those rabbit holes.

Just wanted to post a little update. 1 succumbed. But my husband and I went to the local hydro store to pick up some happy frog and ended up talking to a couple cool ass guys who just educated the shit out of me. I mean I was taking notes like I was back in high school (20+ years ago). His name was Hazzy Treez .

Anyway he took one look at the pics and said "What's your airflow like?" I said I haven't had a chance to put in proper ventilation yet (exhaust/filters etc), there's just a fan. There's just a small fan. . He also noted the purple stems/lime leaves and diagnosed nitro, cal and mag deficiency. Prescription was 7.0 ph water (I was doing 6.5 on advice from the nursery.) Said soil is not too hot. And add nutes per mfr until they green up. But that I probably had bad transplant shock from shitty clones lol, which I kind of suspected. He says always buy from store fronts or grow from seeds. Don't trust delivered clones. I got the bad ones replaced and they were much, much better rooted (shocking ).

There girls are already improving significantly. I'm posting so other noobs can learn from my experience. Now, when I talk to my plants.. I refer to the dude at the shop asked Uncle Hazzy, lol.
