ive 5 ghs big bang under a 125 w cfl lamp that are showing signs of what looks like nute burn they are 16 days old planted in 5 litre pots of plagron royality mix
mate reckond these pots are too big and the roots are taking up more nutes than plants can use
plants prob wont need water for around another 4 - 5 days and mate suggested putting them under my 600 w hps rather than flushing
seems a little early to give them the big light as they are a little small for there age

that is a big bucket for such a small plant ... u want "light soil" like fox farms little war. and smaller pots they normaly dont like big buckets when there small

Those pots are fine, so you can eliminate that from the equation. The main problem with big pots and small plants, is that they stay wet too long, if watered too heavily.(the small plants don't process much water) My guess is that the soil is a little too 'hot' for them, burning them a little. Some plants are more sensitive to this, but as long as it's not too bad, they'll grow out of it soon, and it's not a huge issue to worry about. About all you could do to help, is to flush them, which isn't a great idea, 'cause the soil will stay drenched for days. Without any pics, I'd say it's best to leave them alone, and let them recover naturally. :)

pots were all i had at the time and ive only needed water about 1 a week up to now as i new it would take a while for a larger pot to dry out
ill see if i can get a few pics up sumtime

Saw someone in here, figured I'd bump it in case anyone is having burn issues at the beginning of this season. Ive seen that happen with Mother Earth Groundswell

I'll probably mix the soil down with some Black gold next time, seems a bit hot for a seedling.
