Nute deficiency? 4 weeks flowering

Hey guys and gals, Been lurking here for a while but I unfortunately didn't find this site until I'd already started my first grow otherwise I would have probably never had this problem. I'm 4 weeks into flowering (I think, been working way too much and not keeping notes), using mg organic soil and some generic nutes. My flowering nutes are 10-54-10, watering every other day, giving very watered down nutes every two waterings. When i started flowering I ended up with 4 fems. after about 3 weeks two of them had very little bud production and then almost overnight developed this problem with drying out new leaves that quickly spread around the top and the plants started drooping real bad. Now a week later my two that were looking better than the others have developed the same problem and I really don't want to lose these two. The problem seems to start in the middle of newly formed leaves, it dries them out causing them to curl and even dries out the bud some. She's also getting spots on fan leaves and has been losing 1 fan leaf every 4-5 days or so but I wasnt too worried about that. I've attached some blurry cell phone pics and would really appreciate any feedback. thanks -anon

Hi at, how's it going. I'm on my first grow too so I'm no expert, but thought I'd throw in my tuppence worth. It's normal for the lower fan leaves to yellow and die off during flowering, so you're quite right not to worry. The other problem is odd as it starts in the middle of the leaves and seems to eat into the buds. Look here International Cannagraphic Magazine Forums - The Complete guide to Sick Plants,pH, and Pest troubles!. The closest I can find is either a Boron deficiency (unlikely I think if your nutes have Boron, unless your ph is WAY off) or possibly a fungal infection. The pics on that site are similar. Sorry I can't be of more help but that is a great site and you may find something there to give you a steer. Good luck with it anyway ;)

Thanks for the input. I'd previously looked at that site and boron didn't jump out but it's looking much more likely right now. Now I just need to find some boric acid :\

Too much potassium. 10-54-10 nutes are far too heavily weighted in potassium Causing nutrient blockout across the last 1/3 of the leaves which leads to it drying and dying. You may also have a boron deficiency which is making things worse but I dont believe it would be as extreme. Try getting some nutes at abou 5-25-23

so you're in soil, what are you ph'ing your water/feed at? you mention you're feeding every few days. in soil it's a good thing to feed once a week and water with plain ph adjusted water in-between. it'd be helpful if you gave a few more details about your specifics, how are you doing what you're doing?
