Nute deficiency

first time with hydro , using cultured solutions veg B+A. I was following their instructions 1-2 ml per gallon every week (unless I'm reading wrong ) . It doesn't seem to be enough . All plants start showing nute deficiency. Today they looked like grandpa... I gave em a dose of nutes and they seem to responding well now . Should I feed twice a week ?

14 days old
Ph always around 5.5

I see them curling down which usually means you're feeding them too much. A small plant like that should only be getting 1/4 strength.

If by signs of nute deficiency you are referring to the spots on the ends of the lower leaves, that is a sign of an EARLY deficiency, as in, you waited too long to start feeding them at the very start. The deficiency stops just a little way up the leaf, so you can see when the deficiency ended. Those leaves will continue to look worse and worse as the plant grows even if it is perfectly healthy (damaged leaves cannot be repaired), so you need to concentrate on the new leaves and forget the older ones at the bottom.

The new growth seems to be fine, except that, as I said, your leaves are now curling down and you could very well expect some burning from the heavy nutes (heavy for that size plant).

This issue with early deficiencies is very common with growers new to hydro, I believe it is because they are following advice from soil growers on starting seeds. Soil growers do not have to feed right away as there is some nutrient already in the soil. Hydro growers have to supply very light nutes as soon as they see the first sign of true leaves (the first set after the seed leaves)

Should I leave them alone ? I did just resupply nutes yesterday . I don't want to makes matters worse .

62? That seems odd. These nutrients must be quite watered down. Are you sure your ppm meter is working properly? For plants that size I would want to be around 150.

It's distilled water register @ 2 without anything . I would have to go 50% strength to get over 100

like I said that's really odd. Full strength nutes would normally prob be up around 1000 (or higher with some). So when I say 1/4 strength, I'm thinking 200-250

Here's the feed schedule, gives you an idea of what ppm to expect at different rates:

I have a cs feed schedule saved in my favorites but it was the wrong one no wonder why my nutes are all f-up . I added another 1ml of both b+A as instructed for a week 2 . Still only @ 85ppm.If I was to get anywhere near 150-160 I would have to double and add another 1.5ml of both solutions . Idk I rather starve em them over due it ...

Yah maybe run them for a week or so and see what happens. A little less than ideal is generally better that a little more.
