You’d be surprised there’s much better and less expensive products out there.Ok sweet cheers bro
Nah only going to use advanced nutrients
What brands would u recommend? You’d be surprised there’s much better and less expensive products out there.
I’ve switched to mega crop and have had zero complaints. I bought the 21 lbs bag and if cost was 50 ish bucks before shipping.Picking up my new dwc system tomorrow night,
Pretty much a newb when it comes to hydro,
My tap water has a ph of 7.2 not sure of the Ppm will have to test it later would I be fine to just run tap water? (Obviously adjust the ph down to 5.5) instead of having to splash out another £200 for a RO filter?
So here's the deal. Using ro will be the easiest way to do dwc. It's a blank slate and empty of pH and nutrients seem to just work better in it. You'll use way less pH down and it'll stay at your pH longer. That being said I didn't use ro for a few years and just this year stopped using it. I'm doing fine because i know what's in my water and how my rdwc likes it and how my plants take the well water. I just had a smaller ro/di unit and it took a full day to get the 50 gallons I needed. And my wife really hated that I dumped 2 gallons to get 1 gallon of clean water since I don't have a way to get it into the gray water supply for toilets. So all that said and done. I will always recommend RO water for dwc. But that doesn't mean that you need to use it. You may fare just fine if your water is reasonable and you can keep it where you like it.Picking up my new dwc system tomorrow night,

Me too. It'll be if I mathed right (let's be real here I probably didn't) at least a years worth of res for me and some to spare for projects at probably a third of the cost.I’ve switched to mega crop and have had zero complaints. I’m planning on putting some in my sprayer and hitting my wife’s garden with it come spring. Just to see how it does because why not lol.Me too. Thanks for the info bro think I’m gonna see how I go with the tap for now as I’m using advanced nutes and they supposedly auto ph to 5.7 anyways but if I obvs run into problems then will have to switch to RO just quite nervous but excited about starting dwc as only really got exp in soil haha.So here's the deal.
