nutes advice for peretual grow

Hi gang,

I'm working on a perpetual setup similar to Al B and stinkbud.

The strain is Endless Sky from Dr.Greenthumb which is 45 days, so I was thinking 3 trays, 15 days each tray.

The moms are already underway, 2 weeks and looking decent. Haven't determined sex yet.

Question is this. My understanding from reading is that taking clones from vegging mom, the first few weeks in 12/12 they are still in more of a vegging state than a flowering state. So should I be using vegging nutes in the first tray? Or flowering nutes?

Thanks!!

Your fine with the 3 and 15 set up. Take your clones from your moms which can be in a 24/7 situation.

When you move clones to your grow its all flower power at that point. I ran 1400 to 1800 ppm straight out of the cloner with no problems. Use very simple setups there is no need to go all scientific your first run. one part will do just fine.

100,000 dollar question how do you plan to clone? If you don't know how or you are still reading up on it might want to make sure you know which way your going to use. I recommend using an areo cloner homemade works just fine. that's the Achilles heel with perpetual.

good luck

I can't find the post now, but it was called "The Easiest Way to Clone" or something like that. Basically you put your cuttings in some water, cover them with saran wrap (remove every few hours to let them breathe), and place them near a window with indirect sunlight.

Sound good? Or do I need to build a cloner?

skip water cloning and follow AL B's 'a batch of clones'

water cloning takes forever to root. also theres a greater chance of stem rot.

Sorry must have missed this.

If you want to do perpetual you have to be able to produce clones. Its up to you which way you do it but if there is one way that i found it was the areo cloner but even then it was the hardest part of my grow.

Keep us informed.
