I use Gaia green or happy frog potting mix

If you're unsure when to water let them dry till you start to see very slight drooping and count how many days that took. Then water a day less than that

Repot that sucker into better soil or better yet get some soilless mix like ProMix HP and use those nutes of yours to feed the plant properly right from the beginning.

I've used the ProMix Veg & Herb mix that has built in time release organic nutes and it was a total screw-up just like I'vee seen often with guys using Miracle Gro.
