I'm switching to fox farms because everyone says it's the best. That said, I've been using schultz 24-8-16 all purpose plant food and SuperThrive with good results.

anything with a 1-1-1 NPK ratio is good for veg

but don't feed seedlings

and if you use good soil you don't need nutes for 3 to 4 weeks

right. the type of fertilizer is debatable. I believe fox farm is the best, probably along with the majority of people on this forum.

Sounds like you need to do a bit of research first.

1st grow?

You can use dry time release ferts or liquid. I use both outside and liquid only inside. If you go with the dry I recommend Marine Cuisine from FF. As for the liquid FF is meant to be a 2 part fert.

There is Grow Big for veg, and Tiger bloom for flowering. Then there is Big Bloom which should be used in conjunction with both. NEVER MIX CONCENTRATES, ALWAYS ADD TO WATER FIRST. At times I use all 3 at once. Start simple and gradually tweak it to your specific needs. Here is a link to the feeding chart provided by FF. I have my own version based off their chart.

I have been using pure blend bloom from bonticare, but I know alot of people having been using fox farm, and when I run out I think i might switch over and try it myself. I jsut know the stuff I have been using i was told is an orgaic based nutes. But I have been growing via hydro, also

If you have buds and pistils you are in flowering not veg... How old is she?

I used fox farms full line for my soil plants, I wasnt blown away by the results.. especially in a near perfect environment.

The best yield and plant health will come from these 2 products.. Jacks professional "Dynamic Duo''

Im willing to make a gentlemans bet, that these ferts will blow away FF anyday. :)

Here's the link>> http://www.jacksclassic.com/dynamic_duo.html

FF was disappointing, to say the least.

Funny I've been using for the better part of a decade, works great for me. I am switching to aero al together and will be going with Botanicare. I will continue to use FF outside. This is from my outdoor of 09'. One of the worst seasons ever and the FF really helped me threw it. Not saying it was the FF by any means but I'm trying to say you can achieve very good results from it. My point is if your a half descent grower you will achieve good results with any type of nutes. Bottom line I like it, everyone has there own way and style, you have to find what works best for you.

Also inside under my 600 HPS, yielded over a pound, no c02 either.
