I am also interested in this as well.
I am a noob and did alot of reading and research on nutes and the High dollar they where asking for them. The first thing that came to mind was "damm someone is getting rich of the sale of these chemical nutes"
Dont get me wrong, I do think there are some great chemical nutes out there that will produce great results but I think they are over priced.
This is one of the reasons I went the organic route.

Best of luck to you, I look forward to seeing your results.

I hear ya man, I am currently doing an organic grow. I have 7 plants that are getting ready to go into flower in the next couple of days. I only have $150 wrapped up into my containers and soil mixture, with many of the amendments I added to my base left over as I didnt use the whole bag while making up my soil mix.
My hopes are to make it all they way thru flowering with just adding water. If not and I need to I will make up a tea or maybe a top dress later into flowering. I will not need to mess around with flushing and I can just re-amend my soil and reuse it for my next grow.

Keep us updated.

You wouldn't get far by feeding the plants only distilled water in a nutrient deprived medium (purely perlite lets say). However you do not need to practice the other extreme as well, where you go and buy useless additives such as vitamins/amino-acids and sugars which the plant will synthesize on its own provided the essential elements. I just use Dyna-gro Foliage Pro (9-3-6) for the most part, a cheap, not cannabis-specific fertilizer and mix a bit of bloom (3-12-6) towards the end to approach a 1:1:1 ratio and am quite satisfied with the results. I have tried some additives out of curiosity such as Cannazym, but have found no difference whatsoever. Using the proper ratio of essential elements in proper doses at appropriate times has proven to be the best approach for me.
What I disliked about the cannabis-specific nutrients is that they are overly diluted and all the essential elements are spread into as many bottles as possible, just for the purpose to milk more money and like that wasn't enough even the NPK ratios tend to be based rather on lottery than horticulture.

happy growing!
