nutes

I'm not sure if the stuff keeps like that.... I just mix it up every watering. I think the stuff goes bad if you just leave it out in the light and air and all.

just go and get yourself a 1 gallon or 2 gallon watering can and use that to mix your nutes in.

Walmart has/had nice ones that have gallons and half gallons marked right on the side.

depends on teh size of your pots really, which depends on big you want em to get...

unfortunately can't tell ya from here.

teh ocean forest soil drains pretty good. you just water till you get some runoff, let that water sit for an hour or so because usually it will mostly get soaked back up into the dry spots in the pot. if ther still sitting in water, then empty the water from the dish so they don't have "wet feet".

you completely lost me here.

when your soil gets really dry, it will hold more water that it can absorb as the water is being poured over it. letting it sit in the water for a while lets it soak up more, but you don't want the plant to be sitting in water for a long time.

icic. so how cna i stop it from sitting in water for long?
by not watering to much?

you empty th water from the dish under the pot...
if you can't remove the pot from the dish then you cuold use a turkey baster or something.

you'll get the feel for how much water you plants need.
