Nutrient help

So I used fox farm ocean forest soil for my first grow ever. It’s going pretty fantastic and they are being fed well throughout the whole veg cycle so far, no signs of any deficiencies or anything. Although I’m starting to worry about the future for when I flip to bloom, or even in the case scenario that the soil runs out of nutrients before veg is over and I need to fix it quickly. I am learning from a lot of experienced growers that less is usually more, and to not make this more complicated than it needs to be (which has been working for me thankfully). In my case though, what nutrients do you suggest I stock for bloom phase and/or a late veg stage? I know I’ll at least need to fertilize at some point during my grow but I’m feeling kinda lost.

The stretch, the first two weeks or so of flower, still require veg nutrients. Just introduce flower ferts gradually after that. Switching to flower frets when you flip to 12/12 will potentially yellow your plant prematurely from N deficiency. Good luck!

I feed mine more or less the same from start to finish. Bloom nutes and PK boosters are just a result of marketing IMO.

Running high P and K goes against every written literature regarding the subject. We've already established scientifically what ratio grows best with NPK of 3-1-4 from start to finish. Low amounts of P (35-50ppm) and moderate K is best for potency and yield.

I just lower the EC in late flower because that's what the plants tell me to do. Cheers!
