I am very confused on when how and exactly what types of nutrients i should be using for an indoor grow. Also I am mixing my dry soil with perlite, dolomite lime, and vermiculite. is there anything I am forgetting/
I personally don't start using nutes untill my girl is about a month old. If your using miracle grow dirt do not use nutes for about a month & a couple of weeks. You want to first understand the NPK nute readings. (N) nitrogen. (P) phosphorous. (K) potasium. You want to get any nutes that are high in the (N) nitrogen level of the nute reading. Nitrogen makes your plant grow fast & hardy. As for flowering you want something high in (P) phosphorous. Be sure to reduce any nute feeding that is high in nitrogen before you indulge flowering. High nitrogen levels delay flowering.
You always wana start nute feedings at about half the potency. Even better start at 1/4 the recommended dosage. & increase the potency gradually. If you slowly increase the nute feedings it is very possible to feed your plants heavy heavy nutes. But they have to get used to it little by little.
