nutrient lockout in coco?

Looks like magnesium/potassium lockout I believe it's from the ph being to high in the medium when I'm check medium with bluelab soil probe it reads 7.2 which is to high I'm using slow release organics botanicare growilla bud which has oyster shell in it. I think that's why they are locked out I've been top dressing every 2 weeks as recommended. Any Ide as how I can fix without flush as I think that'll just keep breaking nutes down along with the oyster shell. I water with ph between 5.8-6.2 as recommended runoff is low tho which is weird last time I checked it was 5.4.

Hello mate, you are right, this is a ph fluctuation. I think the problem happens because these are slow release nutrients, as they releasing, they changing the pH. I have read description about the nutrients you are using, they really are designed for coco but. This does not make any sense as coco itself is not designed for organic nutrients especially slow releasing once. It has to be watered 3 times a day when plant is mature, but organic fertilizers require some time to produce essential elements.
In your case I would first flush with 5.8 pH'ed water, until your run-off pH will be 5.8. From this moment start giving it food 3 times a day and always make sure your nutrient solution is 5.8 pH and there is some run-off. This way water will be constantly changing, and your medium won't have enough time to change it's pH.
Monitor the pH of run-off, if its too low then you will need to increase you nutrient solution pH to maximum 6.2, or opposite way if pH is too high.

No panic, it's good you flushed it. Now just start feeding it 3 times a day, and pH will stabilise, give half the amount of nutrients, until you see some improvement, than full amount.
