Wait wait wait,does anybody even know how or why to use fertilizers in soil anymore ?
You dont just dump shit in beacuse the plants went from veg phase to bud,or reading some manufacturer feed chart that says to dump excessive nutes in with every watering.
The question asked isnt as simple as ya,go ahead & use this brand,its about the soil & how long a well mixed soil will last without having the soil become baron & starve the plants.
Look here bud,since you say you can make soil then i take that you understand exactly what amendments to use,with that being said its highly unlikely you will need a full time fertilizer.
Do some reading on organic tea recipies that allow you to feed & nuture the soil so it dont become baron, instead of just randomly dumping shit in & hoping for the best,this forum is full of HELP MY PLANT IS DYING threads from new growers following manufacturer feed charts & generic advice.
Either use a high nutrient soil from the start & nuture/feed the soil to keep it productive or start with a relatively nutrient baron soil mix ,then use fertilizers to feed the plant,most new growers do not possess the skill needed to use both at the same time without disasterous results.
