Hey mate I'm currently growing strawberry banana, have a look at my post there are some pics in bloom.
For a start I have root rot, no chiller, but I have a 20/litre a minute air pump providing craploads of air.
And good base nutrients.
What nutrients are you using ?
Do you have fresh intake air ?
Do you have something sucking the air out of your tent also?
Besides the roots turning colour how is the plant looking ?
