Nutrients for Sweet Peppers and Tomatoes in Dwc?

Hey everyone. I'm just about to start my DWC growing either some sweet peppers or tomatoes. I was just wondering on what people recommend nutrient wise for either of these plants. I know about the grow A&B and bloom A&B style nutes but would it be possible to just use tomato food in the DWC considering it is actually for tomatoes?

Anything just to save a bit of money lol.

I have some Better Bush tomatoes in a aeroflo knock off on my deck. Im using some water soluble nutes called QuickGrow. They make a grow and a bloom formula but I am doing Lucas with just the bloom. I put them in on Easter Sunday and I already have about 7 or 8 golf ball sized maters . Blooming like crazy. The stuff works , even for smokeable veggies and it cost about $7 bucks per lb ;) I got 2 lbs of the bloom for like $15. You can buy it on ebay but its cheaper by a buck or 2 to go to there website.

1 - Sirtom68 he's not talking about mj
2 - You can use B-1 Thrive and some 20-20-20 that is hydro safe. Don't waist your money with '' Hydroponic '' liquid type of food. The guy at my local hydro store said I can use the regular plant food that is hydro safe in a hydro system. I prefer to do a mix of 20-20-20 and B-1 Thrive in a weak mix. The plants love B-1 Thrive but you need the nutes from 20-20-20 to.

Ummm, excuse me? What gives you the idea that me telling him about the nutrients I use on my tomatoes has anything to do with MJ? I dont know if you are trying to be helpful or a straight up smart ass. Either way, I gave him some advice, if you dont like it fine, dont correct me and tell me what I am talking about. I put up with enough know it alls as it is. PEACE

I'm trying to be helpful but you said''even for smoke able veggies '' thus your making it sound like your talking about growing mj. I didn't meen it in a bad way but if your not talking about growing mj then you shouldn't say "even for smoke able veggies" then.

The 2nd one was for Red Ant not for you if you thought it was for you if not then disregard that.

The 2nd one is what experience I have had my self and what I was told by the local hydro shop by me witch I'm surprised because most try to get you to buy liquid hydroponic foods from them. I said it because it might be what works for him and he did say he wants to grow peppers and tomatoes the cheaper way.
