Nutrients For Vegetation

Can you use any off the shelf fertilizer? There is a 20-20-20 fertilizer at the local store that I was considering buying.. Similar to this:

If not, what should I use? And how should I get it? Should I change when I go into flowering?

20-20-20 sounds like it should work just fine.

For vegetation and flowering?

Yeah, it would work for both. Jacks makes a blossom booster that you can use with the 20-20-20, or perhaps the blossom booster can be used alone. Either way, it's high quality and affordable.
