nutrients from start to finish for autos

I am looking for nutrient information from start to finish for autos in a DWC. I have had some success but honestly I am about 50%. It seems that they aren't as hardy as regular plants, I may be wrong but I am looking for info on them. I have had a bunch of successful standard grows but I am struggling through my second Auto and would really like to know if there is a standard nutrient formula that works well with them.
thanks

Nope as all plants are different. Autos are said to like half of what photos take so you could start there. What do you usually use and how much for you're photos?

I have been using house and garden. I typically use a little over half of the recommended amount, I find that some of the additives like Nitrogen etc that they sell are really concentrated so I use about a quarter of the recommended dose for those.
my latest problem was really bizarre to me. I had three going just fin ww. two of them were really getting bushy I was feeding them half doses of fertilizer. The third was slightly smaller and had leaned over (not doing any tie ups at this point ). I topped all three plants twice. then at day 37 the 2 healthiest plants snapped about 3" up from the roots. I could understand if it was right at the roots but 3" up? I tried at this point to tie the biggest one up but it just died from me moving it around. the other plant I just let it sit. I immediately flushed the system. now I am at day 54 buds are developing (still several weeks from mature), the one broken one's stem actually regrew and eventually lifted itself off the side of the planter, the one that was the smallest is now actually a fairly healthy plant. I don't want a repeat of this situation. The stems that broke looked conical at the break like a minature beaver had felled them. I talked to my mom and she said that it sounded like maybe the cell wall had just collapsed. So this is why I have asked the question.
I hope that my description is good enough, I am usually really good with the photos but it has been a busy and trying spring and summer. I did have the presence of mind to take notes at least. I am wondering if I just am not super cropping enough or if I need a stronger fan or both. I have attached a couple current pics. pics are with light off and I need to do some housekeeping its not as much of a hot mess as the pics make it look. I am running Led and usually when plants are healthy a 600lec. any advice is welcome!

Well first off what the actual HECK is that bubbling green mess you have in the 2nd pic???

Maybe clean up that area and you'll have better success!

Goodluck

I shouldn't be giving advice as I'm just a nooby myself but common sense tells me that you have some sort of rot / reaction going off. Your second pic looks like a witches cauldron!?

I might be wrong here but with DWC you need airflow. Similar to a fish tank with a pump. That shits gunna go green if you don't get the aeration. Just my thoughts plucked from common sense so it might not be the best advice or even the right advice!

Rock wool produces or attracts algae also.. it looks like there is a lot of that.

Lastly, weed is a weed. Its gunna pull through.

You really need to get rid of those barnacles / scales on your plant stems, Use 50% isopropyl alcohol with Q-tips or cotton swaps. Then as Paju said, you really need to increase the air flow all through your grow environment because barnacles / scales wouldn't be where they are if it wasn't always so wet / humid in that area!

Curious to see if you took advice from this thread and implemented it. How are your girls doing friend?

things are growing great I have actually just really cut back on the nutrients, they seem to enjoy a lot less than other strains I have grown. I have really neglected this grow but I am getting into a better place now so I cleaned them up and they are busy ripening like they should.
I live in a rainforest so its pretty humid all the time. I do agree I need more air movement in that room as to the algae it isn't pretty but typically I will cover the exposed media so that it doesn't grow, That also makes cleaning easier between grows. I appreciate all the advice. I do have great aeration, however I do need a better circ fan in the room to keep them moving. I have a better set up in my other tent and the plants are always sturdier. I will post some pics of the final product in a couple weeks, and close this thread out.

Also try to get rid of those Brown Dead Leaves, they can cause bud rot in later flowering, especially if they are getting wet.

Ugh, that's some disgusting shit you've got there, throw it out and start afresh. With hydro and nutrients just use General Hydroponics three part FloraMicro FloraGro and Flora Bloom.

Next as you obviously don't have a fcuking clue what you're doing, you should start off with my DIY cannot go wrong, foolproof (not idiot proof though) Shallow Water Culture. see my sig.

Well I must agree that you probably should throw them out but if not you’ll learn something and on the plus side they are still growing and green for the most part. Any update?

I probably wont be throwing them out its gonna yield about 3oz and will be tasty it looks nasty but thats because i didnt bother trimming and covering the rock so I do have algae growth I will be picking and curing next week ill post a couple picks of the finish. its amazing what a hair cut will do :)
I am not going back to GH it is just fine but I want to dial in these autos with the MC going forward. I try to change up what im doing with every grow so not every one is pretty but i do learn thanks for the info.

i have grown autos for 8 years, [ in soil ] i use biobiz grow, and biobiz bloom, thats it !

10 mm of each as and when required, sometimes i double up in main growth stages, for example 1 week into flower i might double up, then again in another week or so, generally speaking ive had zero feeding issues, in 8 years.

I agree, dont snip them. Some of these people are acting like we are growing prized orchids.

I get that its nice to have a nice healthy plant with good structure and no deficiencies etc. But once again...we are growing WEEDS! they are hard as fuck and we can clearly see that after what you have put her through .
Post the final product , I'm so curious about this one. Any other plant would have melted at the base in those conditions. Mj is amazing.
