Shit yea mate Taskenti is pretty big now. If I hadn't of topped her god shed be really tall by now like getting towards 10ft id say it has long stems and shoots I like it. Someone called Taskenti the Sativa hash plant because it grew really tall for a pure indica outdoors :) Yea looks like my CC is prepping for flower to but surprisingly my good Panama looks further into preflower then all of my other plants which is odd? Wouldn't be so bad if it flowered though because itd finish properly id say. Yea I think I might have got a dud with my CC Ill have to grow it again sometime. Im feeding my plants the transition sun leaves nutes now which is half N and half P but Im keeping the N up so I don't get a deficiency like last season.

Still killer weather up your way any rain? Its good down here we got a small thunder storm and it rained/hailed a little bit which was good, we were meant to get 32 today and hit 30 but yeah weird climate here its like a basin once the suns up it heats up like crazy but once its gone it cools down pretty quickly. Most of the time it stays around 12 - 14 at night if its been really hot. The hour or so rain didn't do shit we need a hell of a lot more for things to start getting green again hah Yeah the CC is showing some quite sativa characteristics now and looking a little better.

Your plants looking stella  Man cant wait to see them in flower! Have they started yet? Hows the vine hoppers, they sound like a real pain to get rid of.
Yeah it's got those old school giant indica genes, being all the way up in Uzbekistan it probably has some of the purest ancient indica traits. Out of it how the panama is that far in already, could be a faster pheno and should finish easily in your climate I reckon. The CC has quite a diverse gene pool, the last pheno I had was meh but this current one is absolutely amazing! - some of the most impressive growth I've ever seen inside, sky rocketing every day and only had 5 days veg and the structure is really really good. It grows outwards as much as it does upwards. Big yielder too. Oh yeah that's all good, hate seeing N deficiencies in flower. All my plants are a good 10 days in to flower, some more some less, funny how the seed plants are further into flower than the clones.

Yeah still good weather up here, hit 28 today. The last few days have been off on with rain and yesterday we got quite a bit. Yeah definitely a different climate, probably similar to Mediterranean Uzbekistan climate but not as intense winters. When it rains here in Jan/Feb it doesn't go below 19-21 at night lol sometimes there's only 2-3 degrees range from day to night!. same up here man, still dry as fuck - the water only really went 3 inches down into the soil.

Yeah think they started around 3rd week of january, nice and early. Vine hoppers are covering the BD13 x OE's but I sprayed them today and cleared away some tree branches that the hoppers seem to live on so they're not so close to the plants.
You're plants are looking great bro, reckon you'll have atleast an lb or 2 - enough to last you a long long time that's for sure. That Panama is in full flower not pre lol it has proper heads on it. My panamas only show preflower hairs late jan and didn't go into flower until just past mid feb.

Hey mate hows it? Shit yeah it has those ancient indica genes shes massive now, over 7ft topped my plants have gone nuts in the past two weeks haha Im still not flowering yet both of my Panamas are but not my indica or hybrids which is odd? But they look like theyl switch within a week or so. Yea the Panamas quite in already and looks really good and smells even better! I can smell the trippyness lol Nah but smells like sour berrys its great. My CC is looking better now but its poorly rooted and is sort of fallen over.

Wow your plants are huge now mate :) That CC is a bloody monster! Awesome pictures I cant wait to see how those big crosses you made go. Weathers been not to bad down here its been raining on and of but clearing quickly during the day and not raining for long enough . Had a fair few nice days and some nice ones lined up but its still dry as bone. You guys have such nice warm nights it seems to stay up at 20 + some nights! Yea I dunno why the Panamas flowered first lol Ones a week ahead of the other. Made a mistake the Panamas defiantly flowering

Sucks about the fine hoppers bro Ive got a fair few on my Panama DC but nowhere near enough to need to do anything about it shel be fine. I found myself trying kill the fuckers with my hands but they're to quick. The other plants had 5 or 6 hoppers except the Taskenti which had only one I think, they hate it oh and the Panamas had none aswell.

Ill have some new pics tomorrow.

Looking really nice guys! It's taking some self control to not visit my plants... Hopefully mine are looking half as nice as your guys. I replaced a patch that was eaten by something (sheep?), those had small cages that were badly secured, good genetics too :-(

in other news...

Went to check for males at a small urban seedling patch (too early and will have to revisit :wall:) and got attacked by bees :cuss::cuss::cuss:... I must've knocked/disturbed a hive right next to a plant I was checking... Little kamikaze bastards. got me good 5 or 6 times thru my clothing and on my hand. Funny as, but sad that I can't tell my mates without lying about why I was out anywhere near a wild beehive. Gotta put my personal safety above a good story sometimes... But not here :bigjoint:

Mentally preparing for my outdoor fem seed making project. Maybe I'll make another thread for it so I can get some help from some experienced peeps. Would really like to have my own stash of fem seed.

Pulled in some early autos for some smoke, not much but it's decent. Looking forward to seeing some kiwi bud photos...

Grow on...

How much do you guys reckon the Black Domina x G13 has dominated the cross?(first lot of pics)
Yo man dunno the genes properly but I reckon the OE is quite dominant?
Thought I had to join old Icmag and show of some ace on those threads haha

Bloody good man the indoor CC is going ballistic!. Haha Yeah I bet, looking great man looks like they've grown a lot and gained a lot of girth that's for sure  those panama look like they've been flowering for 3 weeks at least! crazy for pure sativas. damn that purple pheno is sexy! see that devastating potency already. Maybe the cold is inducing the sativa into flower more? I've found my more sativa looking plants are flowering first compared to the indica phenos this year. Been quite a bit colder in the mornings lately, it'll snap the plants into flower really fast - been pretty mildish this Feb. Love the Panama Terpenes aye! so exotic and different, yeah the CC is looking a lot better.

Cheers yeah they're algood but the vine hoppers killed the buzz lol growing insane until those bastards came to town!. Yeah the OE x BD13 is good but not that much to each individual plant being close together but I'll get a taste for the potency/terpenes /flavours etc. I think this CC pheno will be my bread and butter for next season outdoors - has all the good qualities for outdoor guerilla and is probably one of the most impressive structured plants I've seen indoors(grows like an outdoor clone without any training!) I chucked an average mother in the room and yielded over 5 zips!. Dry as fuck up here too, cold nights at the moment. The lowest at the airport was 9.8 and up here was 12 or so, real good for the first stages of flower to kick their ass into full flower mode.

passion vine hoppers suck bro but I guess it's a good learning curve for me, once I fully suss the hoppers out I'll be a much better grower. Yeah a few here and there is all good(like the CC) but when the get attacked it can be devastating if untreated. Shaking the plants or trying to kill them by hand is useless lol, they're the toughest and most insecticide resistant bugs I've ever dealt with. I'll work on a cure in the winter! and let every one know how to kill these bastards once and for all  Taskenti is the most bug resistant strain I've ever had - even the spider mites stayed away from it.

Got 12 Ace Malawi fem seeds from in the mail today from a kiwi at ICmag! bloody legend gave them for free. Keen as to find a 10 week pheno to chuck outside next year with the CC. What're you feeding your plants? I just put a TBS of Volcano bat guano(Earth Juice) per plant 10 days ago and some neem granules for the nitrogen for the early flower and plan to cut all nitrogen out close to mid march.

Yeah who knows time will tell but I can see they're quite inbetween the 2 that's for sure. Couple Sativa leaning phenos and definitely some heavy indica phenos too. You'll get some real good info from the breeder (Dubi) from IC, always comments and gives advice to every grower that posts - legend!.

Sweet mate you've got yourself a killer CC pheno  Yeah they've gotten big now, ill be very surprised if they haven't started flowering by now ill see in a few days though. Im very surprised about the Panama though man I dunno why they're both flowering lol Im quite happy they started though becasue I might actually get a real nice finish! Purple pheno is stunning and smells amazing I was reading that dubi said the purple pheno was quite rare so he never really talked about it which is kinda cool and supposed to be the most sativa leaning which makes sense because it has very thin leaves. Im gonna knock back the N with the Panamas they're green as f I might miss a feed they should be fine. Ha true so the cold nights or mornings will snap a plant into flowering? Does it realize it better reproduce?

Asshole hoppers lol I got a few aswell on my PDC. Should be some interesting heads on the OE x BD13! Shit man im surprised that the CC got that big for a reveging plant, good shit. You should put some out early next year man you could yeild nice as. I like the structure its like ball shape with nice even tops like the medical growers do in their back yard haha Damn that's cold for up your way we've had relatively cool nights aswell with average days but some good weathers on its way. Im very impressed with the taskenti its been growing in the nearby silty river soil which isnt actually to bad and not sandy but its outgrown almost all of the plants that i used compost and better soil with so top marks for it, this thing has potential for a massive yield id say if this thing was done properly you could easily pull a pound like an afghani. Cant wait for flowering!

Youl figure them out man their must be a plant the hoppers hate? You could make a extract of that plant and spray that, maybe chilli? Nah I dunno but you never know lol Your dead right the Taskenti is very bug resistant and only attracts good bugs like preying mantises. Its had them on it since it was two weeks old right up until now which is pretty out of it maybe its the terpene profile?
What a good fella sending you Malawi seeds :) Im just feeding transition gunao which is half nitrogen and half phosphorous as top dressing every 1 - 2 weeks and with nitrosol when I water but im cutting back the nitrogen a bit now especially with the Panama this far in already but yeah I wanna phase it out by mid march. I also fed a little potash which also has sulfur in it which will get them going in terms of potassium until mid march. Once I can confirm they're all in flower I can start to make a better plan. Wish I could clone this purple Panama its beautiful and already has resin on her I also think its a shorter flowering pheno which would be killer indoors.

Where I am it was the driest Dec-Jan since records began.

lol climate change, what a fucking idiot.
Climate change is just the new thing to say imagine how much money they're making off people trying to scare them, look at China they don't give a fuck they build coal fired power stations once a month are any of them going help the climate, we've had a good summer in the Waikato heaps of rain up until the last month, different areas record different measurements just over the hill from you it's probably been cold and miserable.

Nah, our taxes pay for scientists who actually study this, they aren't making it up.

Here's a useful image from NIWA showing current soil saturation

We're currently in a dry summer. You're right though that locally you'd find that Waikato was probably drier in 2014 - but as a whole we're way drier than the historical average. South Island in an official drought and all that.

Yeah we've had less than 40mm this year so far. Fucking dry, hence why rain crystals are a must if you can't visit every week.

Next season I'm planting October for sure, better to have massive root systems for the droughty summer months.

Anyone having colder nights than usual? perfect weather at the moment for early with hot days and cool nights.
