NZ Greenhouse Indica Clones 2010/2011 Season!

Those are the same white panels? well it looks like you are getting plenty of light without the heat. I been thinking of replacing them with clear.
Maybe I should go the other way and replace the top with white to see if I can cool the thing off some. What is the difference in temp from inside the green house to outside on a sunny day?

this is very interesting I definately want to try this sooner rather than late, how much are temps affecting you cruzer?

My roof is just frosted not white... In mid summer our outdoor temps hit a max of about 27C which is about 80F, inside the greenhouse on a day like that with only oscillating fans on the temp inside gets to about 33C (91F)... The temps will only be this extreme on about 5 days in our whole summer.. The majority of our summer days hit about 24C (75F) and the inside temp is about 28C (82F) on these days.. Now we are getting even slightly lower temps as fall is here

Last year the inside temps were hitting 35C (95F) if not more but this time they didn't get that high because I went and drilled loads of cup sized holes through the plywood floor (cool air from underneath the greenhouse ventilates the room) and cut a square vent in the wall and put a grill over that to increase fresh air ventilation. I also stuck panda film (white plastic) to the walls I think that helped not only in reflection of light but also heat as the plywood seems to absorb some heat so all these things help a little bit. I also have an extraction fan up top which i screwed into a box type fitting that I built but it is very silent and very weak so I never really bother to run it (only sometimes on very hot days it gets turned on)

Yea. that's not bad. I get anywhere from 15 to 20° increase with just window and door open and a clear top. Summer days hit high 80's easy.
So I pump air through it like mad. I got 1650 cfm attic fan intake with two exhaust fans, the big ones an 8in vortex that runs through a scrubber about 750 cfm and 200 cfm inline booster. I got screened vents all along the bottom back wall, its shade back there. and a couple oscillating fans. With all that going I still can only get in down to 10° above outside temps. On hot days I have a small a/c unit I can use but I try not to use it so much.

Dam Im lucky I dont use anything except oscillating fans LOL and a dehumidifier sometimes when we are having high humidity which is rare.. I checked out your 2010 grow and WOW those plants grew into monsters! Next season Im deffinately starting alot earlier and using large 7 or even 10 gallon pots (this yr Im only in 4/5 gallon pots)
Do ya know how much you yielded off your winter harvest? My friend said I can have his heating pads for free (like 3 feet long) to put under the pots and it heats up to about 10 Celcius above the air temp, you just put the pots on it to keep the roots warm in winter so I might give it a go with the winter harvest thing

Yea sure, 6 in soil and 6 in hydro, I got about 12 or 13 oz's. about a zip a plant.
But I did add supplemental lighting about half way through. I got a 600w on a rail now for the cloudy days.

I cracked up when you were describing the orange glow when you tried the HPS in your green house. I hear ya, kinda surreal looking, expecting an alien to pop out or something.

Buds are still fattening up! Cant wait till these ladies are done!!! Have started flushing, trichomes are aprox 40/60 clear/cloudy at the moment so getting there...

Nice man!! I harvested the NL today (left the lowest nugs) they were slightly amber.. chopped because of the rain coming this week didnt want to risk any more mold. Looks like we could easy get three oz off them

These stems arent really that thick so the buds are falling over like crazy lolz... Any guesses at what my final harvest weight will be?

Sure, I'll give it a go.
Let's see, you got seven plants in there right. all indica, bout 2 1/2 feet tall, I'll go with 7.5 oz's

Yup 7 plants. I was also thinking around that figure.. Will be interesting to see what I end up with i'll be happy with an O per plant This year was very unplanned and they could of been started 2 months earlier which would of grown into monsters! Next years plans should get me alot more (larger pots and longer veg time)

The whole thing is 4.3metres X 2.4 metres OR 14 X 8 feet... I built a wall at the back to seperate my grow room from the front and my grow space is 1.3 metres X 2.4 metres OR 4 feet, 3 inches X 8 feet.

Here comes a very, very depressing update...

Woke up this morning about to harvest my plants and the greenhouse had been broken into overnight. Cant beleive this happened hours before my harvest. 4 months of hard work to grow these babies for my own use so I dont go broke having to score from gang tinny houses where I dont know what my money is funding. Thought this way would be safer but no... Fucking scumbag theives took EVERYTHING. Didnt even leave me with 1 bud.

Sorry guys Im not normally this rude but to completely lose such a huge harvest (for me) that I put alot of work and supplies into is heartbreaking...

Thanks for all the support on here guys, really means alot.
Im still trying to overcome this as I've been finding it hard with money and right at harvest this happens...

It seems my greenhouse is no longer safe to grow anything but my peppers and tomatoes...
However this will not stop me and my love for MJ and I will continue to grow in the future.. Probably next season I will start a guerilla grow and if I can get to a better location then I will start an indoor grow.

For now Im going to take a break from growing as my heart could not bare to be devestated like this if it happened again but I will still keep an eye on all my friends and subscribers threads.
