Oatmeal for nitrogen?

I'm not saying that "it won't work". Lab.- made calcium tablets "work", but the truth is, the calcium quality and absorbtion ablility is very low compared to natural calcium supplements. I believe it's the same story, non-boiled retains a much higher quality and the ability to absorb better into the rooting system. Soak in rain water, nitrogen is also added. Soak in the Sun, Vitamin D is added. Living healthy water is called Dead Water, after it has been boilded, also.

Root Bound? ..... The container size, and how deep the plant sets inside the container looks like possible root bound,.. not enough room for your roots. To solve the mold problem, one of several, is to soak & strain 1 cup of stone ground/whole ground cornmeal in good, hot water overnight, and feed your plant. It's at the local grocery store, not the bleached or enriched cornmeal.

Not sure if you're peeking at this thread, but I just brewed my 1st batch of alfalfa/oatmeal tea, fermented for 2 1/2 days. After watering with this, I see a white layer on top of my soil. Not mold, looks like the fine sediment that you might expect from oatmeal. Is this what you see with your teas? Made me a little uncomfortable, looked like it could support a mold outbreak.

Remove your white layer, replace with castings... don't bubble so long
i'm happy you're doing well, i'll peek in on your results. still curious on the oatmeal prospects. i probably won't try it again for a while, was trying it as a rescue treatment

From what I understand, Super Thrive is the best sick - plant treatment there is. But not for over fertted plants. And if used too much, it too, will kill a plant. Good Luck Guys.

I've heard too many OD stories with Super thrive to have tried it, thanks. Maybe I'll pick up a bottle. It's been a long time (thank the pot gods) since I ruined a plant with soil/nute imbalances. What has worked when I had the problem was first, flush the shit out of the soil, then put a good layer of worm castings on top while its still wet enough to draw some of the mild nutes and critters that come from the worms gut down to the roots. Then let it recover before I fucked with it again.
of course this was too solve an imbalance from overkill/too much love. One of those guys plants, I think growone's, mostly just looked starved for N. I'd use fish emulsion for that. or if you're sick like me URINE!!!!

2 Oz's of urine per 1 gal. is cool, but not for me. My diet sucks, so I don't use it with the exception of up-hill from my grow, & for ant mounds. I'll go with the fish emulsion. There is two ways they process it. One is called Hydrolization. I think it's the boiling process. Anyway, it's not near as nutrient filled as the other method, whatever it's called. Check out who sells what, etc., in case somebody is interested. Counted 100 popped this morning. And the day is still young. Later.
