I hold a 0.0001" tolerance for size, concentricity, flatness, and squareness on parts with custom threads, mirrored, syncronized, and blunted that, assembled, contain 500,000 lbs per square inch between two diamonds. This is a PLASTIC thread with a OD of 0.1808. It begins to yield at 8,400 lbs of force. No one on Earth has successfully made these parts with a test strength beyond 3,000 lbs but me. I used to supervise a machine shop until I had a heart attack on the shop floor. After that, I programmed for a couple of years before returning to shop work. I can do anything needed in a machine shop. Your job description sounded pretty much like "button pusher" to me.
