that's how fucked up of a system we have set up in Murica' at the moment. you all disagree with each other whole heatedly but your still all right.

yes we need to cut back on governemt dependance and middle class taxation, and yes it will hurt almost every aspect of the country if we do it........ how the fuck did we let them build a system to do this to the citizens?

start trying to answer that and we will be heading in the right direction, and i bet we will find a lot more in common. you are all debating end game, but the shit has infected our system way before the grocery store. we have been paying people to organize, develope, and maintain a functional system for the last 200 years, and they dropped the ball A LONG FUCKING TIME AGO, and i think we all know how it works today.

That my friends is the issue, and were it all starts from. They have set a trap for us and we are already in it, the question is how bad is it going to hurt to get out and get back on track. And like it or not punishing people for hard work and effort by rewarding the lack there of is not the answer, creating programs to assist people in developing a functional self sustaining lifestyle is. look back to the great depression and look what had to happen to break it. Government projects to employ the masses and strengthen the overall infrastructure of the nation, and the effect was so great the USA has been riding the coat tails of it for 70 years.

everyone else will help come up with a job that suits your needs yet still allows you to preform a valuable task,... beggars can't be choosers or so i was taught.

Kinda strange your bigotry did not incorporate some tortilla and re-fried beans in the cart.

I'm not a bigot, just stating something I see on a weekly basis, and it is not just a singular event. I pay attention to things, and every time I go to shop, 8 out of 10 people are using an EBT card. I made light of a true example. It wasn't based on race, creed or national origin. I'm sure groceries in predominantly black AND white neighborhoods have the same occurences.

Look, I don't fault THEM, our government is giving away the farm ( no pun intended ).

America is on a fast, downward spiral. That's my point.

how could he have stated the facts better to prevent you from labeling him a bigot..... i'm just curious? because i have also seen what he described, verbatim, on almost every occasion to the grocery store. So how do i complain about such selfish and irresponsible behavior with out offending you?

why would you keep having children that you can't feed? i almost feel that should be a crime equivalent to child abuse when it continues. Everybody has accidents, but when your on your 5th you may need to be institutionalized until you can be educated better of cause and effect of sex, not rewarded with another $500 a month.

IMO we take advantage of the huge workforce available in the country at reasonable wages (even at minimum wage it is better then food stamps, and my brother lived on nearly min wage for the last year due to the low volume of mechanic labor atm) to begin rebuilding our outdated infrastructure. I have no issue with big gov spending if its being put toward something that benefits the nation. Our gov has forgotten what it is supposed to be doing.

Chica is a Spanish slang or shortened word for a young girl, chico would be the masculine form used for a boy.

i assume he was referring to the young female of latino decent that his story was about, and was attempting to add flavor or humor to his post by integrating one of the few spanish words he knew into it. i can however see how you may have interpreted it as a racial slur despite its common use by spanish speakers, similar to use of the word nigga by some americans of african decent. I think the main difference here is the word chica (or similar) has never been used in a discriminatory fashion to demean people of latino decent on a large scale as nigger was. I can defiantly see a clear difference here, but also understand the problem you have with the way the post reads.

I would grow plenty of shit without subsidies, just not corn. The only thing that makes corn so damned valuable is THE FUCKING GOVERNMENT!!!!! Otherwise its use is mainly as cattle feed. Oh sure they makes plenty of corn syrup out of it and other byproducts, but Ethanol production subsidized by taxpayers is way way more lucrative.

Only the stoopid who want their farm to bankrupt itself and then lose it all would stop taking the subsidy. I don't consider myself all that intellectually lacking.
