Obama on universal health care

And you thought Obama was something other than just another slick, Chicago type of mobster politician? Hahahahah! Bad on you, Med.

Early on, I continually asked you to decipher Obama's slogans and tell us what he stood for. You continually avoided the questions and retorted with personal attacks.

I'll say it again ... Obama is NOT qualified to be president. He hasn't a clue about what he's doing. As a result, the economy is going further into the tank, the national debt is sky-rocketing, Afghanistan will become Obama's Vietnam, and yet ... the Obama fanatics still have their Obama/Biden campaign stickers on their car as if they are attached with steel glue, while at the same time, their children, grand children and great grand children are being led into economic servitude.

So you are all about gloating. If you remember, I also said if he didn't do what he said on the campaign trail, I'd be the first one to hold his feet to the fire. That is what I'm doing. Question: do you actually think John McCain would have been better?

remember a lot of politicians when they get caught smoking the reefer they always say "i smoked it but i didn't inhale." when they asked obama he said "i smoked it and inhaled, that was the point."

what i'm trying to say is obama doesn't have old ways of thinking. i believe he knows what we need.

Ok already, we know we know... I supported obama, won't make that mistake again. I and any other intelligent voter still knew even before voting for him that he is a part of the system... Republican, democrat, doesn't matter he's playing the game so next time maybe there will be an independant that can talk the talk like Obama did but NOT be beholding to any special interest or old school ways. But, I doubt people will wait that long and I expect things are going to go to demonstrations and civil disobedience on a scale we have never seen before and then escalate into something truly ugly for those old powers that be. Not a threat and not my plan or anything, but there are a lot of extremely pissed off people out there just waiting for a worthy target to put a bullet in. War criminals and slick willy politicians at every level better get concealed carry licenses and get really proficient with a gun, plus grow eyes in the backs of their heads along with massive security forces.

Uhhh, they already have all that, and then some. Ever heard of helocopter gunships, they are the next line of defense, right behind the police cars. Ever seen what a few miniguns can do to a crowd, awesome. Don't think those in power would ever refuse to use them if they actually thought they could lose power. The only way to escape this, the most destructive country on the planet is to use your passport while you still can and find a nice neutral country to live in, I'm thinking Panama. Run by the CIA and protected by the USA, not neutral, but much more free than the mainland. They offer many perks for retirees like mysrlf, like no taxes, free transportation reduced medical, reduced dining costs, 10% discounts everywhere.

Better from what perspective and on what issues? If you're talking about economics, the retention of liberty and the overall well being of the country, you're damned right McCain would have been better. Would McCain have been my ultimate choice? Not even close.

Yup, that confirms it, you are fucking crazy. I always knew it and now everyone else can also see it. Maybe if Obama lets universal health care slip by, you can see a professional about your problem, otherwise it is sheer idiocy.

And once again Med ... thanks for your well thought out analysis of my comments.

Now then, any comments on what I actually said about economics, the retention of liberty and the overall well being of the country, or are these topics to far over your head?

Right, so now instead of being thrown in prison you get sent to a "
"rehabilitation center"...

uhm, is there a difference?

I guess some people will soon find out...

No now it's a detention center in Afghanistan rather than Guantanamo and ANY american citizen can be rounded up and sent there. Same difference, no changes. You can sit there for the rest of your life after they give you some bullshit fake trial. Sit there until you die or are tortured to death. No penalties for torturers and no justice means it will continue to no end. If there ever is an end and people are released, whether they were terrorists before or not they'll want revenge for damn sure now. We create more and more and more Osama's.

Look out in the future, we are creating more terrorists than we are stopping and if any of us were treated the same way we would want serious revenge too.

At least we could give real trials to those people and if found guilty just set them free on an island with no means to escape. A few boats patrolling the shores of some little island in the middle of nowhere would be a lot cheaper than running a prison anyway and more humane.

I too want to leave this country but I don't know where I want to go. I love tan skinned women, what's brazil like? What country has really laxed laws against marijuana and brazilian looking women?

I'm learning Japanese, I figure if nothing else, Japan would be a really interesting place to visit. If I like it enough, I leave, though I might decide to learn Ukrainian or even Russian and go slightly further East.

Seems that far, far away from both the United States and the Middle East are going to be the best places to be.

Though ultimately, maybe, just maybe I'll end up just using my new found skill in Japanese to land a translating job or a programming job in Japan and increase my income. Not a bad deal at all.

I like that last option the most, even better would be if I end up working for a Japanese firm in a managerial position here in the States due to my skill with speaking Japanese, but I think the odds against that are slightly higher than the other 3 - 4 options.

It would be a nice place to visit for a week maybe but no growing period and you'll probably be stuck with no smoke ever.

Japan is also crazy expensive. I hope you do up your income cause you're going to need it just to live in a shoebox of an apartment. You better be a doctor or lawyer or something with a seriously fat income.

If I wanted to live somewhere expensive it would be a tropical island.

That's the problem..."they" all know what we need. The first time I met Ron Paul he said "I don't want to run your life..." If you want freedom of choice voting for either Obama or McCain was a step in the wrong direction.

Ron Paul has never smoked weed but he thinks it's your own damned business if you want to...THAT is the point!

Brutal says:

.
With North Korea firing missles over Japan, I doubt I'd like to live there, especially since the Japanese killed and tortured hundreds of thousands of Koreans during WWII, Russia would probably fit you fine, the Russian mafia and all that.
