Because for large part of the US it's still the devils weed.
It's just a bad narrative for an election it will become "Think about the children" "Obama wants your children to get high" "war on children". Outside of a congressional push for legalization I doubt any president will push for legalization...there's also a UN treaty to overcome.

Because there were thousands of dispensaries during the Bush years? Alot of the crackdowns have happened as a result of local governments requesting federal help especially in socal. Others have been popped for shipping out of state and selling things like ecstasy on the side(is it the governments fault or theirs that they fucked up a good thing?)

The issue is this.
Obama has come out and supported same sex marriage, so it is evident he is not concerned what the bible belt thinks of him now.
So why not support the weed movement now then? answer is he most likely doesn't care a less about the weed community.

It's not going to be Federally legalized in our lifetime.....get over it. I'm just thankful that my State at least has the balls to have MMJ.....and the Feds could give a shit unless you're abusing our gift.
Best case scenario IMO is more and more States jumping on the bandwagon for MMJ, that's a realistic start.

No, I thought it was to reopen under new ownership. As for Lee it's unfortunate, but I don't know what the audit found and neither do you.
Some depensaries were forced to close under legal threat but how many people went to jail or are facing charges? Would that be the same under a republican administration?
I'm not conservative, I just don't believe Romney will be better... he will likely be far worse.

Well I'm glad to see the "0" come out on gay marriage. All he did was polarize the country more. Every gay or person who gives a shit about the "gay agenda" was already voting for him. All he did was piss everybody else off. For various reasons, but he pissed a lot of people off. There are people who would have voted for Obama who will not now. Hey the gays will love him more than ever. But I think gays get 1 vote just like everybody else (equal).
