Obviously you did not go to college. Have you heard of the landmark discrimination case against U of M? Colleges absolutely do give prefference to certain minority applicants. In fact, they reserve seats for them. And they do have special class' for minorities designed to inflate their grades and to advance them under the table - I know because I've seen it with my own eyes.
Bullshit, U of M professors are not going to give someone a grade boost because you're a different race, that is a joke.
Dead wrong. To be sure, there are professors that do not give preference but many do. like I said, I have seen it with my own eyes. Do they have official minority grading scales - no. But you have your head up your ass if you don't think minorities get an extra leg up from their ultra Liberal professors.
My last statement was fucking redundant for crying out loud. Pull your head out of your ass and look at the world you live in.
What a joke, maybe at a community college or a state one like EMU a few of the low level classes will help people out, but guess what, they would do it with any dumbass that needs help, it doesn't matter the skin color, just the fact that there are people that need some more help. Chances are after the first 100-200 level classes they are going to be dropping out anyway.
To think that happens at a college like U of M on a large scale is retarded. They don't have to coddle to get people, because they already have the ability to replace students at a whim. And they don't have to compete for your tuition, other colleges compete with them.
You are grasping at straws. Obama doesn't know the first thing about being black. He was raised by a white mother in Hawaii. He went to Harvard law. I see more Blacks driving to my Detroit warehouse every day than Obama has seen in his entire lifetime.
This is really very simple. Obama wants to put more Blacks in positions of power because he is an ultra Left President.
You guys really need to look in the mirror and ask yourselves why you have so much difficulty admitting obvious facts when race is involved. Your difficulties are an obvious manifestation of your white guilt and your internalization of Left wing programming.
How is it you can honestly claim to look at life without bias when fear of certain subject matter forces you to ignore obvious facts.
Pretend you have a pair of testicles and call it what it is
Lmao this has to be a joke right?
I mean you sit there smoke a bowl and come on here just to say stupid shit to see how people react right?
I mean how can you seriously say that with a strait face.
How many white people has he appointed? Then figure out how many black people he has appointed.
Actually, that is exactly what is happening.
About the only place you find Conservative professors is in the sciences. And BTW, Conservative does not mean religious zealot - don't conflate the two.
Many intellectuals agree that the university is a perfect isolated bubble from which Liberal Professors can espouse their views unchallenged and to a captive audience with no chance of failure, and that is why liberals gravitate toward that environment.
Starting a business or entering the rat race is the polar opposite where one succeeds or fails based on their performance.
lmao so don't call conservative religious zealot, because that is too far reaching, but saying that universities are so ultra liberal is fine.
Conservatives can get any job that they are up for, but guess what RickWhiteRacism 101 would not really garner a lot of students, and would be a waste of time, well unless your trying to get the crazy element of white power students.
Unlike you, I know my ideas are the same ones many great minds have been espousing for years. Really, it's nothing but plain old wisdom.
Here is a quote from Thomas Sowell's new book on the very subject of intellectuals.
The fatal misstep of intellectuals is assuming that superior ability within a particular realm can be generalized as superior wisdom or morality over all.
Many intellectuals and their followers have been unduly impressed by the fact that highly educated elites like themselves have far more knowledge per capita in the sense of special knowledge than does the population at large. From this it is a short step to considering the educated elites to be superior guides to what should and should not be done in a society. They have often overlooked the crucial fact that the population at large may have vastly more total knowledge in the mundane sense than the elites, even if that knowledge is scattered in individually unimpressive fragments among vast numbers of people.

You should read some of his books, you might actually acquire your first bit of real knowledge.
What ever you do rick in your business you most likely know more about that and the area around you than anybody in a different industry right?
Would it not stand that someone that their life pursuit is in a particular subject would not have that same specialization, and know far more about that area than most people outside of their specialty? Doesn't that just make sense?
When you want to know about a period in time, best bet, find someone that has devoted their life to studying that time.
That is what I don't get about the people that are always bitching about the educated elite, you have thousands of universities that employ hundreds of professors some with overlapping expertise, but varies in time. Studying almost everything about our world and beyond, why would you think that they wouldn't have an aggregate of knowledge, that is what they all are doing, is just acclumulating knowledge and history of the things we have went through and building on top of that with new data and how things in different sciences mingle.
It is not that they are collectively smarter, it is just that the information is more centralized and easier to access.
I know there is data that proves my economic theories. All you have is Keynesnian drivel that has NO successful real data. Plenty of failure, but no success.
And with that CJ has made the stupidest post on this thread.
