Shouldn't we celebrate that less people are being spoon fed lies over the airwaves? Go Obama I think I see his madness :bigjoint:

Not cable! Next it will be dinners out every weekend!
Don't make light, the Unions fought hard once upon a time and I mean Hard to make such things possible I do not like seeing things that may indeed be luxeries per se but really are not that pricey getting to be for the middle class. I don't like classes but we got em so

I am more libertarian than anything....

In any case, have you thought that government and the economy is not 100% to blame for people giving up cable? Cable prices are ridiculous.

TBH, I pay around $70/month for Directv. But I use my streaming Netflix account ($8/month) much more. Which do you think I will give up when I have to tighten my belt?

Almost all cable and satellite providers have went to the new method of bait and switch sales tactics. They offer you a reasonable price for their product with a 2 year agreement. In the fine print it says they jack the price up double in the second year and charge you a hefty for cancelling if you don't pay they charge off 5x the amount to your credit score.
