It didn't really happen behind closed doors. It happened in an open forum and the owners came behind them and tried (unsuccessfully) to clean up the mess. Not sure how forum software works but all the proof was still up on CC right up until the forum went offline for anyone who knew where to look. I've never spilled the whole can of beans, nor do I really care to. I'm not a hater. I don't care who makes their money... but, at the same time, sometimes I just can't resist the itch to call out obvious bullshit. Maybe I haven't given you enough benefit of the doubt and you didn't know or you've interacted with them enough to think they're 100% on the up and up. I'm just not that emotionally invested in it. The seed business is full of bullshitters. Always has been. Like I said to someone earlier today, I guess it's to be expected in an industry that was, until recently, staffed wholly with career criminals. Still, there's something to be said for integrity. In my book, Alien never had any. I've seen him be super nice and I've seen him show his ass like a spoiled brat. He could've just been honest from the start and he'd still have sold his beans. He just had to try to, as Tupac said "make a million dollars off a quarter ounce". It was also a slap in the face to all the original buyers when, 4 years later, he turned around and rereleased "once in a lifetime" drops. And, for the record, I did have some Alien Grapevine and LAD packs. I let them go to someone who wanted to grow them. I saw enough hermies from the LAD in other peoples' grows to know I didn't want to risk it. One of my friends did find a nice pheno from the couple of Alien Grapevine seeds I gave him, but not nice enough to keep.

It's kind of a personal thing because of the way shit went down on CC and how I was treated by Alien. I know there was some fire in some of his gear. Hell, I like the Fruity Pebbles OG. It didn't help how DJ started fucking people over left and right not long after either, before "disappearing" (but not really). The whole Alien fiasco was kind of a turning point for Canna Collective. It was a great place before all that. From that drop on, it might as well have been Pot Pimp 2.0. What's real fucked up is that there are probably a lot of people unwittingly growing DJ's gear right now that got ripped off by him back then. All them motherfuckers can hate me. I don't care. Doesn't make or lose me a single dollar and I don't need anything they've got.
Dj was a FAR better choice than Logic at the time. I got my gear from him vs Logic. Other breeders at the time, suggested him to me at that time.
He was great at first. From that drop on, it took a lot of people 6 months or more to get their seeds if they ever got them. If you didn't post in the forum to complain about it, he would never reply or send anything.
Havent run them, but my alien sour apple has been a breeze to grow....dont know if thats because of alien genetics or sour apple....but its quickly becoming my favorite plant in my tent as it starts to bulk and frost up. Smells faintly sour.
