Ocean forest longevity

Ok guys we all know that ocean forest last atleast around a month and 3 weeks ... however it might last different depending on pot size .. for example you start a seed in a one gallon pot the nutrients obviously last a month .. however transplant is coming and say you transplant to a 3 gallon pot . That 3 gallon pot will not last a month cuz your actually filling it with 2 gallons worth of soil so my question is how long will that last ? And when would be the best time to reamend the soil in the 3 gallon pot , and final question how many gallons do you determine would last a month ? Right now my current situation is I’m in 3 gallons but my leaves Turning lighter and I think I should’ve went to 5 gallons but that’s not an option right now I’m going to veg a week or 2 more then flip it to flower in the 3 gallon fabric pot and reamend with 1 table spooon of dr earth homegrown and 2 tbsp of dr earth flower girl and earthworm castings .

Like you said.. pot/soil volume, as well as plant size and root structure, and watering habits, will all play a factor in how long your soil's amendments will be able to feed your plant before needing to supplement. The plant will let you know.. when the leaves lighten up in color, it's time to feed her.

It would be hard for anyone to say how long an established plant transferred from 1g to 3g of soil will be able to survive on the latent nutrients in the mix before needing to be amended. Too many variables.

Yea your right and I figured that’s why I started feeding them ima make a basic worm tea to speed up the process .. I just hear everyone saying ocean forest last a month but it’s more variables to that thanks for your response

5ish weeks from the last transplant is a good rule of thumb with OF.
